TZ8 is good deal to

Cheeky!!

You've copied my TZ10 post (and wording) for Best Buy and just added in the code.

hotukdeals.com/dea…e=2

I was just about to say Quidco is now 10%, but it looks like they've put it back up again to 15% for the weekend. So yes, another hot TZ10 deal

shame i shouldnt have thought about it and just bought it

I've got this camera. Extremely good, but I paid for this price more than 6 months ago. I am very sure you can get this cheaper. Anyway, hot!

How does the panasonic cashback work?

Any one else having trouble with quidco on best buy? I have tried to purchase items, got all the way to checkout and rejected payments. When I ring customer services they cannot explain reason ( three calls) and try to do a phone purchase without quidco. I smell a rat!

i ordered a low value item last week from best buys/quidco never tracked,no wonder they can offer large cashback amounts as i guess they wont pay them out lol

Amazon is £207 - £30 Cashback = £177

The only deal breaker here is Quidco, which Amazon doesn't have. You can still have Nectar points though, but not as good as Quidco.

Managed to be one of the lucky ones to get this from Play for £199 with the £30 cashback which was sent a few days ago with the proof of purchase. Also Amazon were selling for £207 with the £30 cash back. Both of which were remarkable deals for a quality camera.....:p

This needs to be expired now

Try and buy a class 10 memory card. There is a 16gb class 10 for around £17 posted on hukd

@ wooks I'm having the same issue with quidco

for people wanting to know what memory card to use, if you want to record HD video you need at least a class 6 SDHC or some frames will not playback smooth

Go on Amazon - find camera - look in technical details. All the info you need is there. This camera also takes the new (and expensive!) SDXC cards.

I did 720p recording for birthday party on a tz8 i recommended to my sister yesterday. I used a micro sd card with adapter. the video recording looked rather shabby as i walked across the room it looked choppy. it was good when standing still. also when there's a bulb above it creates a blue light all the way down the screen. like the lights they got replacing the twin tower.

would the poor quality be because of the write speed on the micro sd card? will it improve with better memory card? if its not the memory fault & camera then I've recomended the wrong camera & can take back to shop. any advice would be appreciated

thanks

can anyone recommend a good/cheap case for TZ8?

If you've got anything less than a class 6 SDHC card that could be the reason for the choppy video. I read many reports about what card was best suited before I got my camera a few months back and the class 6 16gb was recommended.

take a look at this video...

youtube.com/wat…dfw

lol a touch random I know oO but try and concentrate on the HD quality not the content

Quite enjoyed watching that video, there were 1 or 2 small sections where it had the vertical lines if you look closely. Still cracking quality from what is a really, really good cheap as chips camera. I went for the Canon last year and wife would go bonkers if I bought one of these as well! You just really can't have enough cameras!

Minimum speed rating for shooting HD video is Class 6, would recommend Class 10

lol... you only live once !

What I find quite remarkable in that video is, how stable the image is ! I have a Sony DCR-SX33E camcorder and even on a tripod video seems quite jumpy.

haha when I first looked at it, I thought no I can't post that, ill get shot down in flames ! however having watched it a few times I think its brilliant !

or as one comment says... Echt super Video!!!! Ich habe mir vorher die TZ10 bestellt. Ziehmlich geile Cam!!!

Hmm, just tried to buy this. Not available for home delivery for me, only reserve and collect. Quidco 15% excludes reserve and collect.

Anyone managed to get home delivery?

EDIT: Silver and Red versions are available for home delivery.

EDIT2: Voucher code doesnt work for Red and SilvIer

Its not possible to get all the discounts together anymore. The best is Quidco 15% and the Panasonic cashback on the Red and Silver version.

Probably should be expired.
