Saw this watch in the easyjet in flight shop magazine the other day. Compared to the other watches they were selling I thought it looked cheap at only £9.99 and was surprised that you could actually buy something relatively cheap on a flight.
I wasn't interested, but I remembered it as I thought it looked a bit weird. Obviously their price was not so cheap now I see this posted, where you can get three on Amazon for the price of one on Easyjet.
It's not for me, but looks like a good deal nonetheless, heat added!

don't you risk import duty?

plus the handling charges from royal mail / parcel force?

i would rather buy within the UK, and avoid such issues.

No import duty at that price.

Spent over £300 with DX and never paid import duty or royal mail charges.

lucky you! still, not worth it in my view, would rather buy British.

In the description... "This LUPO anion watch emits negative ions and infrared which make you calm. It soothes and relaxes your mind." - this has got to be a wind-up (the quote, not the watch ;-) )

I'm usually a fan of Deal Extreme, but the reviews suggest that these are really really crap.

Cheers

If you think these watches are British made, then you're sorely mistaken!

the ladies one is available in 9 colours for the same price too

black, purple, white, pink, lime, red, yellow, orange & baby blue! however most of the reviews aren't very good so maybe the cheaper deal extreme ones are worth a punt afterall since quality of both seems to be quite poor! at this price fairly disposable watch anyway

I didn't say they where British made, not much is nowadays!

This site may even be hosted abroad! (or may not!)

But I would rather buy from the UK, to AVOID the POSSIBILITY of import taxes and handling fees etc....

Hope that's cleared things for ya!

Another reason to avoid them! lol

I have had several of the Breo ones of these from Play, they are ok for a throw away watch!

it loses 5 minutes a week. so if you want to keep fixing the time, go for it.. its also got no stopwatch which is a put off.. not voted!

These watches are way below the legal threshold for paying import duty and handling fees. Unless you spend over £18 on non-EU goods, you're absolutely fine.

I have one of these, they are brilliant for the gym, look on fleabay, even cheaper on there

Would still buy from Amazon, going off experience from buying off Amazon.

Saw Ian Poulter wear one of these Sports Watches during the US Masters coverage last night on the BBC. Alot of golfers wear these sort of things!

Fair enough, but that wasn't really my point. Just letting you know that not every non-EU delivery attracts import duty and handling fees.

womens !!

I've just had a look at this watch and they have it in ladies too lots of lovely coloours as well

Fleabay ones mention this:
- Minus ions above 1900ions/cc
- Far Infrared Ray above 90%

Any idea what that means?!?

It's rich in madeupium-pro-v212, and will make your coat shiny,

Medium is generally good for men with small wrists, (or ladies as they sometimes class it.)
The watches are excellent if you work with kids (ie. at a nursery or a hospital as they have no sharp edges.) I use mine for when I'm coaching hockey as they are about as safe as you can get.
Well worth it, even at £10 for the Breo.

I say the same thing when I see the shampoo adverts

I think that you are missing the point - your misguided comments re duty & fees, etc. are detrimental to the forum - there are others reading them who may know as little as you do & may believe your incorrect statements. Below a certain point (it was £18 inc. P&P, but I don't know if that was raised), THERE IS NO 'POSSIBILITY of import taxes and handling fees'.

"Buy British"? Are you having a laugh? Where do you think the Amazon ones are made? Also, Amazon is not a British company.

Sorry, I missed this post of yours.

As already poosted by others, the chances of being charged import duties are not an ussue on such a cheap order. Royal Mail will not charge you either.

As a previous poster said, these do lose time but it's hard to find a watch my daughter can wear. She is allergic to something they use in the metal buckles and even plastic buckles often have the metal prong so these are ideal.

If you put this on your wrist and never take it off it'll last you maybe a year...however, if you're normal and take it off at night, in the shower etc, the strap will break within a few months...I went through 3 in a year...get a proper watch, these are for kids!

Work on it baby..........:whistling:

I saw these in poundland few weeks ago
