As you said, the biggest thing is that it has been missed for a week, Surprised at missing this for that long. Will be having a few of these, along with the Plenty 12 roll at £3.50 (don't miss that!) - Plenty post

Tesco, Waitrose etc. do 2 x 250 g of various branded butter for £2. One ought to get out more often. Please note butter freezes well.

I noticed Kerrygold in Tesco at £1.25 standard price (not shown as offer). The new Kerrygold process provides 100% butter that is softer from the fridge ..... but still pure butter, not a "spread".

I have yet to see an explanation for the price of Butter as it increased substantially a few years back and now remains high - except for the continual "offers". Strangely, French and organic butter, which always sold at a premium, is now about the same price as the others. oO

I'd be interested to see a cost breakdown to show how butters from all over the world end up costing the same ..... yet the supermarkets can regularly discount by a huge percentage. This offer underlines my concern ...... or maybe the vast savings in packaging 500g rather than 2x250g merit a £1.20 discount in the price

Good price considering the Supermarkets have upped the prices for the … Good price considering the Supermarkets have upped the prices for the 250g pack of Butter from 2 for £2, to 2 for £2.50. In the last few weeks I've now noticed the appearance of the 2 for £3 offer. The only problem is that it doesn't fit in a Butter dish

Put 1/2 in and stick the other 1/2 back in the fridge?

this is hot.

waitrose ran 3 for £6 recently and now they're running 2 for £4.50. Both decent prices. I think Iceland ran some offers recently as well. Always worth buying up a few whenever they're on offer.

Always nicer to get REAL butter like this rather than the "spreadable butter in tubs" (e.g. Spreadable LURPAK...which is only 69% butter....a vegetable fat mixture really!). (_;)
