Is this the tub or block ?

6000 calories for this block. That's around a full 1kg of fat you'll gain if you eat it all.

I can't see where anyone else has figured it to be a main serving suggestion. Everything in moderation.

Hi Shak

Stop talking crap Shak.

£2 for butter is wayyy too expensive. It should be £1 at best!

How exactly can you eat 500g of something, and take from it 1kg of fat?

Shak - how can it add 1kg of fat if you only eat 500grams? Your calculations don't appear sound.

Last weekend Lidl had there Meadow Farms Butter reduced from 0.98p to 0.57p - not too sure how different branded butter can be but worth checking.

this is for 500gms which is double the size of the normal one so the normal one will be for a pound unless you are expecting £2.00 a kilo

Fat is made from carbon dioxide and h2o + energy. You body will store more water to hold the calories. It does this using fat.

well on the ingredients it just said butter milk and salt

Empty shelves this afternoon :-(

This isn't really a 'deal' because I can quite easily buy 250g of butter, i.e. churned milk, for no more than a £1. I wouldn't tangibly be saving money buying a 500g block for 2 quid.

I was making the point that supermarket butter for a £1 would taste no different to lurpak.

It does taste different. Why do you think all butter tastes the same?
