The last few years have been horrendous but you would think with the money they make they could sort it out and make much more than just doing it in store. I saw the queue and thought no thanks which I’m sure many will have done and I usually spend £100+

Yeah I usually spend that amount too. Stupid excuse about not doing it because of waste!!! It sells out every year online

Manchester have it sorted this year. They only allowed 20 in at a time given chance to look and buy instead of grabbing. Loads of stock in both stores. It's a Boxing Day tradition for us Lush sales.

It may possibly have been the same at the white rose in Leeds but the queue was huge and the security said a minimum of an hour wait. Hope you got what you wanted
This is all Lush stores I believe its the only sale they have yearly too
Yup, always spend £100+ on the Mrs in the sale, but the queues this year and the wait were insane. Gave it a miss. Would rather pay full price and live an extra 2 hours of my life, haha! Having said that, it was nothing on the queue for Pandora, which I genuinely cannot fathom, the stuff is bloody awful!

Same in Belfast this morning, queue was around the building at 11:09am - took one look and walked away. An hour later I noticed the same people still in the queue.
Is this usually a one-day thing? Just wondering whether it's worth heading into birmingham tomorrow. I had a few lush bits on my Christmas list but santa couldn't get all of them.
Oh what an experience.
Never been in store on Boxing Day and after my experience today, never will again. Awful carnage in store down south. Monster queue to get in, no phased entry so shop full in seconds with no-one being able to move enough to even put basket below their head, genius! Queue to then purchase goods an hour later (the time it too to get to a shelf) was longer than the queue to get in, go figure. Christmas and ‘seasonal’ items on sale. Not the items they make all year round. Only exception seems to be 1 bottle of shampoo, largest size only.
Shop assistant stated no online sale as the website couldn’t cope last year. As previously mentioned in an above post, perhaps more money into a better system would have suited everyone far more.
Nothing against your post OP. Good deals if you could get your hands on them. Managed a few items and ironically needed many more to get relax from the experience.
Deal hot. Process Baltic.
Wow. Sorry for the rant. Guess the experience required UKHD group counselling after.

At Taunton it was 20 minutes queue(1 out 1 in) to get in and and 1 1/2 hours to queue in the small store. Staff were really good though. Some people were pushing in to queue pretending they were looking at things.
I was in lush bluewater today and it wasn't to bad not everything is half price though just a few things
First time I've ever been to a store for the sale (after the last year's ordeal I'd already decided to go even before they announced there'd be no online sale this time). I was 36th in the queue at Chester, waited just over an hour to get in and was absolutely delighted - they had tonnes of stuff, I spent £78 (after discount) and that's me sorted for the year probably. The queue by the time the store opened probably had a couple of hundred people in it but given the amount of sale stock I'd be surprised if anyone came away disappointed. Lush staff in Chester were great - the queue and store access was well managed and they were all their usual cheery selves
This is JUST the Christmas stuff, NOT on everything in the store. Went today, and it’s specifically the Christmas products. Brilliant prices, well worth a visit, but please edit the original post.

32923106-Afy6s.jpgWhy do lush USA get to have a Xmas sale yet we don't. 50% off in store or BOGOF online
How long is the sale going to last for?
Walked through town yesterday but was too busy to actually go in
