asda luxor uses samsung panel, great quality from source...

I have a UMC LCD in the kitchen that uses a Samsung panel and the picture on that's crap what i want to know is do you think that if it has a Samsung panel its great? Samsung make some rubbish sets with bad picture quality so that statement means nothing in no way is this in the league of a Toshiba lcd
It's not just the panel that makes the TV amazing, it's alot of the workings inside too. I bet the contrast ratio on this is still 1000:1 or something when I proper Samsung TV is 80000:1 for example.

(Note above contrast ratios are representative only, not factually correct figures)
Luxor was part of the quality Finlux and Nokia brands that were made in Turku Finland. These brand names were acquired by Vestel and are now made by that Turkish group
Just wondering if it has a vga input?
everything is listed above...
