Good to Know:
Aluminium body of pan- lightweight and easy to lift, as well as being an excellent heat conductor.

Ceramic cookware is probably the most versatile cookware around. This touch, glazed material is made to put up with direct heat from a stove burner, and can easily tolerate the heat from home or commercial-grade ovens. For that matter, ceramic cookware can survive the type of heat which melts steel.

The properties of the ceramic glaze strengthen the pan to make it more durable and resistant ensuring it lasts, it won’t corrode or require polishing, and it's extremely versatile with the benefit of holding its own when exposed to extremely high temperatures. Not only this but it's colourful appearance makes it ideal for serving dinner straight from it on the table.

Benefits:
Set of 2 fry pans allows you to cook meat and vegetables separately and help to prevent cross contamination. With the set of 2, it’s easy to remember to use one size for vegetables and the other for your meat. Meaning there's no more confusion over which pan you should be using, and preventing the cross contamination of your veg.

I can't help but think that food is going to stick awfully with these.
I was thinking the same.. wonder if you can get away with metal utensils though!
Saw a late night tele ad on sky the other day for these and they do look too good to be true. made toffee in one and just wipe it off in one go with a cloth. they also said because its ceramic you can use metal utensils. they also smashed it with a hammer. Was tempted but never trust these adverts. If they sold them in tesco i would be straight on it
Thanks for posting.. im sold,

Only had to think about the crappy pans I currently have at home.. plus the mrs likes the red colour lol

Love the bit at 1:10 where they start frying an egg and then it cuts to a obviously precooked egg being tipped from an apparently clean pan. That sort of makes me think the non-stick isn't quite as good as they are making out
Well theres always some doomsayers on these deals.. shame really but all info counts.

Recieved my pans today.. and cooked up some omlettes, worth every penny.. felt effortless
For those who can get to a Wilkinson store, try one pan (Wilkinson's own label) first for about a tener to see if you like to cook using the ceramic surface. The Wilkinson pan does not come with much instruction on how to care and use the ceramic surface so use these instructions as the ceramic surface needs care to keep its non stick-ness. But Viners is a good make. I am just about to receive my first Greenpan, if it works well I shall gradually replace all my Teflon pans as overheating causes toxicity. You shouldn't overheat these ceramic pans too but if you did accidentally for a short while there is no toxins produced.
I don't think ceramic coated pans have a great reputation for lastability - have a read here for example:

amazon.com/Bia…s=0

Plastic or wooden utensils only, and no oven use.
Oil or butter always recommended - no 'dry fry'

Seems to be a keen enough price deal, but the sizes are quite small.

By contrast, I bought a 28cm Tefal 'Specifics' pan in Sainsburys the other day [''half price'] for £14...
Did anyone try these.. did they stick?
