We've been looking for some top quality towels to replace our excellent John Lewis ones which are finally wearing thin after 10 years of daily use. It's easy to buy towels cheaply but even John Lewis can't match the quality of the ones we currently have at any price.
Spotted House of Fraser's Blue Cross sale and had a look in store on the offchance and Bingo! Not a store I usually shop in and the experience wasn't great: most items weren't marked down on the shelf and difficult to find staff. However, the effort was worthwhile when I found these own brand ones and they did scan at 70% off (all colours)! Wonderfully thick, soft, 100% cotton, full size towels. I paid £43.50 for £145 pounds worth of towels at normal price.
They seem to be on line too. Don't know how long the Blue Cross Sale lasts though.

You're welcome. Just washed and tumbled ours before first use and they're SO soft.
Need some new ones as mine are starting to soften with age, thanks!
Hot!
I wish I'd got some with a higher gsm.
I wouldn't recommend them.
Yep....£6 for a 500gsm FACETOWEL is still out of my range!
Actually it's 4 for £6 (£1.50 each).
My apologies - that's a better deal! You may want to insert the prices into the OP.
just ordered around £60 worth. free del over £50. went through quidco hopefully some cash back.
£6 for the hand towel
£10 for the bath towel
£10 for the bath mat
£16 for the bath sheet.
Now I work at HoF on the home dept. and the last time I put these through the white and cream were scanning at 50p more for the mat, bath towel and sheet so yeah, they're a couple of quid more if you get the set.
I personally prefer the Casa Couture towels because they're thicker and fluffier, but that's just me.
Click on link - still shows 70% off.
thankyou,,
I think 600 is the minimum for reasonable quality.
