LYCLEAR HEADLICE TREATMENTS £1 AT POUNDLAND

32
Found 29th Aug 2012
Poundland currently has Lyclear Mousse, spray or cream headlice treatment in stock. Expiry date is December 2012 on the one I picked up. Pack contains nit comb. Bargain compared to the £7 plus elsewhere. This was at the Bracknell branch.

All poor effectiveness...look it up
Why have I started scratching my scalp ?! Good old DDT powder was much better, that sorted the little blighters out (the kids mind not the lice) !
Get some tea tree oil to deter the horrible ****, if infested already get a really good comb and conditioner.

No chemicals needed, they don't work!
chemicals work for me. HOT
Have to say, I never used treatments until the last "episode"! We have been very lucky not to have had this problem much but daughter's hair is now so thick and difficult to comb through that I wanted to make sure I'd got rid! Used a different make then but it worked and will hopefully not need to use my bargain but just in case!
There is no treatment on the market that will work, i am in with the doctors and the market for head lice...... apparently the chemicals available are no longer effective on lice.

Buy a comb and spend some time on the lil monkeys (_;)
Agree with tea tree oil - I buy little bottles from wilko for about a quid. Mix a few drops wth a teaspoon of condtioner and add to a misting bottle (also from Wilko) full of warm water. Apply liberally and give childs scalp a right good going over with a nitty gritty comb every 3 days for about a fortnight.

Sorted.

Oh aye, don't forget to comb against the "grain" of the hair, lice are clever little buggers - they lay their eggs in the direction the hair grows. Combing in the opposite direction helps break the eggs off.
Working in a primary school these things are an occupational hazard! Always use this stuff, works a treat.
The sooner treated, the better

Lice, because your never so cheap to buy a 1 pound treatment.
Great, thank open. Ordered two for the wife for Christmas
Thanks for the reminder of why I don't ever want children.
They've been this price for a while...
(At least 2/3 months)
Doesn't going into Poundland increase your chances of getting nits in the first place

About the same chance as going into CEX i guess.

Was warned at little one's school yesterday that there is currently an epidemic due to the unusually wet weather and not due to idle apathetic parents apparently.

Use nitty gritty comb instead of these chemicals, can't recommend it enough, only one go will do the job. A deal was also posted on hukd some time ago.
Great... just reminds us all the the kids are going back to school.
Don't wish to lower the tone, but Lyclear works downstairs too.

So I'm reliably told.

Great deal !

Nah, no nerve touched there. I just hate people like you making stupid comments like that. If you won't walk into poundland to get a good deal because your school friends will make fun of you then your a fool.

Good day.
home bargains selling this stuff for 29 p my wife stocked up on this stuff ready for the new school year, no doubt we will be needing it because of selfish, lazy uncaring parents who cant be bothered checking /treating their own kids because their kids would never have headlice would they...
Waste of money and effort even if was 1p. Bottle of conditioner and head lice comb and keep combing. Nitty gitty comb best, it's about £10 but every home should own one.

No good for me................I think this requires you to have hair ??????????.......lmao...

** You're **

Did you get your sense of humour bypass on the NHS or was it private? either way, they did a sterling job

Whilst I've never visited CEX, I have shopped at Poundland, it's good value, so who wouldn't

I have a great sense of humour, I even see what you did there too by leaving out the full stops whilst having a go at my grammar as a touch of comedy.

It is true that in places like poundland / home bargains etc the other people there lack any basic manners. (It is weird because it is never noticeable in other shops).
Cheers I've been itching for a deal like this.

OK... I'll grab my coat now.
Do you realise that all this treatment is free for under 16's in scotland anyway. all you do is register your child with any chemist and you get a list of
medicines etc for free and nit treatment is one of them. Although I have 5 kids and find the best treatment is covering wet hair in conditioner and using a nit comb, just comb the hair, works perfect. I do this every 2 weeks
Got some of this (the mousse) to use on my two lads as they had picked some up recently and it was brilliant. Ran the mousse through their dry hair as instricted and combed through before washing. Every one i combed out was dead, so i grabbed another couple of bottles just in case as they are back at school this week.

The mousse is pesticide free BTW, so there is nothing for them to become resistant to.
