£9.75 for a 4 film/6 disc boxset doesnt seem bad at all to me!
The four films are: Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs and The Village.

Ok, so they vary in quality (the first two are great, the last two are mixed), but seems like a good price for it, especially if you'd like to add some Shyamalan to your DVD collection!

terrible director/terrible films its beyond me how this guy keeps getting work when hes never done a decent film with a decent staisfying ending..i think 1 pound would be too expensive for this crap

that's a bit harsh.. Sixth sense and Signs were good, Signs was not what i expected, but enjoyable.
The village was OK (ish) Unbreakable was poor though. i give heat anyway, good price.. ;-)

Unbreakable and The Sixth Sense are great films. I havent seen the village, and the less said about Signs the better.

Thanks for your words of wisdom waxxy; but I find it puzzling why you felt the need to write this in depth film review when this deal has clearly been posted for people who like M Night Shyamalan films. I'm guessing from your critical and sweeping review that you are not one of them fans

...and Titanic won 12 Oscars so are awards an acurate guage of quality?.

Personally I can't stand his films, particularly his habit of giving himself a part and he has definitely tried to position himself as some sort of modern day Hitchcock. The Sixth Sense is probably his best film but it's all about the ending, which I admit is excellent on first viewing... if only the preceeding hour and a half was as compelling.

Having said that, and with heavy dollop of irony/hypocrisy, I agree that this isn't the place for opinions on the films themselves... ha ha! Good price for the set if you like 'em. :santa:

I love Signs and The Village, but the first 2 are amoung my most hated films of all time.
I hate it when people judge though. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean others won't.
Hot for 4 films if you like them!

agreed that it's a good price, but I tend to agree with the fact that they are rubbish.
Sixth Sense is terrible once you know the twist... good films you can watch over and over again once you know the twist, and indeed some are improved as you can spot the clever ways in which you were hoodwinked... I'm not giving any examples in case people don't know the films involve twists
Unbreakable just suddenly finished with a pathetic ending... me and my mates actually waited after the credits to see if there was more as at was so unsatisfactory..
not seen signs and village due to being so put off by the other 2..

BUT YES, it's a good deal.... not voting though

I have no qualifications to judge these but people have told me in the past they wish they'd listened to me. The last 2 films I saw at the cinema were Godfather and Gamer, so i consider myself open-minded.
