Back in stock at DealExtreme and shipping in two days! Great price for this card for your DS - does the same as the R4 - and it comes with a rumble pack too (also flash card reader). Why pay more?

This card also supports SDHC Micro SDs, unlike the R4 which can only take maximum 2GB Micro SD.

The product number is sku.2728

I posted a direct link but it appears to have been automatically changed to the entry page. Find it under the sku number or click on 'top sellers' and find it there.

One major benefit of the M3 Real is the support of the larger capacity SDHC (4gb+) cards.

Yes, forgot to mention that in the description will add this (better than R4 for that reason IMO)

I posted this in the R4DS thread but it seems to have gone un-noticed.

I've already got a R4DS but my nephews want one too. Would it be possible to just buy a NDS MicroSD Card Adaptor and then just use the CD I already have to transer the necessery files over to make the card work? If so, does anyone know where can I get hold of JUST the NDS MicroSD Card Adaptor?

Original Poster

Not sure if the save files will work, but you can certainly drag and drop games from one micr sd to another.

As for a micro sd adaptor, I will list one for sale (cheap) in the FS/FT section if you are interested.

The saves are compatible between both

ok great does any1 know how to get gba games to work on these things!

don't think so this time, as they have given a shipment date. 1st time they've done this to my knowledge so they must have the stock now. I've never had a prob with them and have ordered TTDS and R4 in the past.

I have had 2 different cards like this on order for the ds lite for around 3 months with them......

They take the money straight away. Dont believe the expected delivery / order dates on the site. As policy they sell stock they dont have then try and find it....

The stuff is cheap and normally good value but it can take a long long time to get your stuff....

Very good price for this, I paid a lot more at Amazon for mine...

I ordered a DSTT last Thursday from gameyeeeah.com it arrived today - Not bad to say its came from hongkong... They too have the m3 in stock and seem reliable to me (just a couple of pound more expensive though) Just an alternative if people are interested.

Great, that has prompted me to buy another and sell the my existing R4. I preder the 4GB cards to allow space for vids and music. So the saves and roms can just be copied and pasted then (after putting on M3 real firmware etc, of course)?

Yes - you need the GBA pack (not part of this package) that plugs into slot 2 instead of the rumble pack. Add the games to 'GBA' folder in the root of the memory card and you can play directly from the loader!

There is a decent guide on how to get it working on afterdawn ]link

Would really recommend one of these - bought mine a couple of weeks ago with a 4GB card for £45 from gameyeeeah so this a good price - voted hot!

Good to know, thanks. Just looked at the DSTT and they are all on pre-order. Were they listed as in stock when you bought last week..?

I strongly recommend against the DSTT cards.

I got an R4 just after Christmas and love it to bits, ordered another one for the wife and they sent a DSTT instead. It's bloody awful. Keeps freezing up and needing to be reformatted. Quite a common problem which seems to be avoidable using soft reset but either way it's irritating.

These are the first good reviews of the M3 I've seen. It's certainly cheaper than the R4 so might get her one of those instead.

Oh yeah - another problem with the DSTT is the rubbish springloaded card slot.

Yes they were in stock last week - paid via paypal - it cost about £18 delivered, I know the DSTT are preorder but the m3 are currently available though on this site.

Not tried it yet (waiting for my ds to be delivered from U.S.A.) its been posted so shouldnt be long... So I cannot really comment on it freezing and spring etc... I only got dstt because I read many good reviews about it.

Spot on. This site has a save converter for any other saves you may want to convert, or if you have any issues

I have bought four TT cards for friends and family and have not had problems with any of them...

I would suggest trying a different micro SD card - I tend to use Kingston 4GB class 4 cards which are well priced and very fast:

Thanks

Gavin

Good deal, although I have a TTDS and having no problems with it.

Ive had mine on order for 2 weeks (it was in stock then), expect they have loads of other back orders to fulfill before they look at new orders. Thats assuming they get stock by ETA!!!

Anyway couldnt wait any longer and ordered from consoleup. The £10 I would have saved is not worth the stress!!!

I can also recommend the CYCLO DS Evolution as a very good alternative. Albeit more expensive.

But great. Especially the way the CYCLO team respons to issues. The SMG issue on my Cyclowiz was fixed within a day.

So I'm staying loyal to them.

hi

i have ds reals and they are great, 2 for the kids one for me, i am also interested in the slot 2 device to play gba, have read a few reviews and the m3 lite comes out quite well also i have read about an EZ-Flash IV Lite and a g6 lite. i like the simplicity of the m3 adapters. i am no techie, dh is though. any thoughts as to which is best?

thanks
dohnut

i bought this when the deal was posted on here a few weeks ago and have to say its class.....plays every rom i have thrown at it so far and its a good price...out of stock just now but well worth keeping an eye out for
dealextreme.com/det…919

Shame they don't have the Perfect bundle (with GBA expansion) on that website. I have found it at www.echostore.com for $60 (£30), or at www.consoleup.com (UK based) for £37. Neither of those sites beat £19.05 for the rumble bundle though.

They will take your money, usually by Paypal at the time of purchase, then send you an email about a month later saying that they didnt get the SKU number from the Paypal confirmation, I wouldnt reccommend this company other than for price.
I am still waiting for the product I ordered (over 5 weeks)

I have just bought a ttds from GadgetAsia. Arrived in less than a week. It works fine although it doesn't show the name of the game ROM. Is this normal? I get an icon and the file name which isn't very useful! Is there a way round this?
Thanks!

got my DSTT locally from ww*.gimp.me.uk .. more expensive but readily available. No problems with my card so far and the build quality really good compared to others i've seen. Ordered on Tuesday night, received the Thursday morning. I'm off home to go demo some legal roms for 24 hours then delete them..

strange to get all these issues reported, especially things going missing. Every purchase I have made with deal extreme (and I've made 19 since oct) have all arrived promptly (i.e. 1-2 weeks from HK), except for one that was on back order (it took 25 days to arrive). What's more, every single purchase was delivered by signed-for post. How come people are reporting missing items when they are tracked? :?

Yep, me too. Have used them twice before that and they were reliable though. I have faith that they'll deliver, until then it's one whiney email a week!

Does anyone have anSKU number for a GBA expansion pack that will work with the M3 Real? Or perhaps a link to an alternative website?

Fantastic price!
Just a quick word of warning, a friend of mine bought one recently with a Kingston 2GB card and it wouldn't detect the kingston card for some reason. He switched it for a Sandisk and that was detected OK. Don't know if it was a bad batch of DS REAL cards or what? If you google it you will find similar pages to this :

Other than that it is a great card and that deal is CHEAP!!!

Good find.

hmm, I ordered this and a PNY memory card on Tuesday from Deal Extreme and have already recieved tracking numbers from Hong Kong post for both saying they have been shipped, the items are tracking too on the hong Kong postal site.
If I recieve my items I'll be pretty happy as it was a great deal!

If you've got tracking numbers, you'll get them. 18 times out of 18 for me!

I wonder if any of you could advise me on which one of these cards to get (DSTT, R4, M3)? My five-year-old son will just be using it to play games on the DS Lite, so I'm I'm looking for ease of use and I'm not particularly interested in any of the other features they allow (music, videos, organiser etc). Any advice gratefully received!

I'd say they are all good for your purpose. Price is probably your main concern. I've used all three and the M3 is my favorite, although I've had no problems with the TTDS or the R4 - for me though the fact that the R4 is limited to 2GB Micro SDs means that I'll not be buying one again. In fact, I will be selling the two i have when these M3's arrive. (but please don't anyone ask for them yet; they will be listed in the appropruiate forum if/when my M3s arrive and I am ready to post them). They are all easy to use once you set them up - drop me a pm when you get yours and I'll be happy to tell you how to do this if you can't work it out.
