I got this as a stop gap for my broken petrol strimmer and it’s excellent .

Extremely light, battery lasted five lots of doing my garden front and rear so more than enough.

Would struggle with long overgrown gardens but does your normal trim absolutely fine

It doesn't have a battery? It's corded
We are the battery🤪
This is a very good and powerful grass trimmer. Heat

This is corded but after using a battery strimmer I wouldn't go back if I could help it. Made life easier for me and I have power in the garden.
Of course it's corded, it states that in the title

Got this strimmer several weeks ago, I like best the single line head in this one, much better than the strimmers that you feed line from by bumping on the ground to release more line, with this strimmer you just cut a new piece of line to the required length and press a button to feed it through the head and it locks in place, no expensive strimmer line heads to replace like on most other strimmers, I just buy a 3mm x 10 metre roll from my local budget garden shop at £2 and it last forever and a day. Best strimmer I have owned.
got 2 cordless ones from screwfix in 2017 for about the same price but if you don't have a time machine that's not a lot of help - what i would say is that they are good quality and the line seems to last for ever
Bought this a few weeks ago and is worth every penny, the only issue i had was the line that came with it was not strong enough as i was strimming an overgrown mess with brambles and such, bought some better line from them and cut it to size, only needed one piece so have 55 meters left!! - This stuff worked a treat

Thanks for that link above, I think we bought the 2mm of that brand from Screwfix as then had no 3mm in. So is this good stuff to use? I find the 2mm alright but it breaks easier. Not upto the pros and cones of a thinner or thicker line.
Not 100% sure, but this looks like the one I was given by the father in law when he bought a "better" one.
I used it today and it is perfectly acceptable, however I personally, found it a little heavy but I have quite a few edges to trim.
Mine is corded, not battery and came with little yellow plastic strips/blades/things instead of a spool of line.
The strips work okay but because they are shorter and wear down, I find it a little bit of a pain to stop and replace or move the strip out more (tip. the original strip goes the full operating diameter, when it wears down too much you can shift it to one side making single string instead of two, but at least it still reaches into corners). Actually moving or removing the strip is simple, just a simple button to release and re-clamp, but a shame you have to do it 3 or 4 times per session.
This replaced an excellent battery strimmer, I would love to get another battery strimer but they were too expensive when I was looking.
