Rather than just issue a refund for the difference, madness!
Everyone needs one of these in their lives they just might not know it yet
Did you find out about the 10% OFF ?

One thing you cannot do with one of these no matter who makes it is "precise woodworking"! Brilliant for getting glass out of the frames without breaking it, and cutting things flush, but there's no way you ever going to do anything 'precise' with it.

auto at checkout...just got one for £18
Just bought a multi tool from argos about 2 months ago for £30, which was cheapest I could get at the time.
This is hot, just got it for my dad, but couldn't get the extra 10%, so paid £20
Didn't apply the extra 10% off for me, tried various ways - also no voucher codes.
Bought anyhow since still a good deal!
checking out now. but still saying £20
Not in the market for one of these but it looks good so thinking about it. Popped on to have a look and also saw this one here. Anyone know which is better? Looks fairly similar, I'm just noticing the before sale cost. It's also got an extra year's warranty for some reason. Not available for delivery or C+C but going to check local stores when I'm there. Just wondering which is better as they are similar in cost.

Also, what am I going to use it for???
Heat applied, nice find.

Just bought one, pity I didnt really need, it but damn, £20 !!!

Never mind that, they don't have any anywhere apparently.
hi

I'm just at the last page of the checkout but not getting any 10% discount.

Could you pls tell me how you got 10% or anyone has a 10% voucher or discount code.

Thanks
Thanks OP If you think you need one of these but do not need it right now then wait till Lidl or Aldi are selling them and you will get a 3 YEAR Warranty with it, same goes for all power tools bought from these 2 company's.
Find Mac Allister stuff good quality. Have a great hedge trimmer, v powerful power washer (that one is 10 years old) and a great big garden blower/ vac (in every sense of the word- it even has a proper detachable vacuum style head on it- brilliant for my artificial grass) and have been happy with all of it.
Voted hot, although the 10 percent discount wasn't applied for me. I set up a new account and nothing.
Oh well, still a good deal.
ordered....best bit of kit you can get after an impact driver.

Yes

It comes with the blade for removing grout. I wouldn't use it to remove the actual tile though.

If you don't care about the tiles, a hammer does a great job ;-)
Just bought one thanks!!

These can either cut tiles providing u have the right attachment or they can lift them using the scraper attachment. I've done both with my multi tool, I own 3 multi tool coz there that useful

Not really as it would take an age to just cut one plank, I would just use a hand saw or if you want to use a power tool then a circular saw or mitre saw should be the best choice
Although I have a Dewalt oscillating tool, either way these are probably my favorite tool so far, well between these and my impact gun but if you're doing up and old house which has had all sorts of stuff retrofitted i.e. electrics and central heating then these are ideal for cutting neat rectangles in plasterboard /lath and plaster for your plug sockets and also cutting neat channels out of skirting board for you to get wires/pipes behind without having to remove the whole section!

Fantastic tools!

Thanks just got mine
Quite a handy tool. I needed to remove the floor of my shed and as the floor was laid before the walls were built and somehow water had got in between the visqueen i had put over the joists and the floor. As the water couldn't escape it was damp. I wanted to get as close to the edge as possible. A small circular saw blade in an angle grinder would have done the job but seeing as that would be incredibly dangerous due to the speed of the grinder I needed something else. This was it. Got right to the edge. This time I put in a proper floor using treated timber boards with upvc strips over the joists. No more damp. I bought the aldi one, perfect.

A great bit of kit for £20 although changing the blades is with a key... but what do you expect for the price.
