Although has mixed reviews this is a very powerful machine that will clear most grass and weeds quickly and is at present at nearly half the price of similar spec machines, plus has a 2 year warranty. Available in store only.

These machines are awful. I have had one for a couple of months and it's going to the 'car boot sale'. The line tends to stick inside the spool and does not automatically feed as described. Very frustrating to have to undo the spool every couple of minutes to free up more line. In my opinion, pay a little extra and buy a Flymo or similar branded product.

From personal experience of owning a flymo strimmer and reading many comments of strimmer owners of all makes, I think you will find that this is a common problem with spool line feeds. If the line is not wound on the spool correctly it will not come out freely. I had the same problem with the flymo. The reason I went for this is purely for power and the thicker line which hopefully not break often. So far no problems with the line or the spool-fingers crossed!
