i agree i have bought a few macallister tools and have been unimpressed with them all and returned them all overpriced in the firs place stick to makita or dewalt

Previously been on sale at £30 with free click and collect as opposed to £5 delivery so bit suspicious of the RRP but cheap for small branch cutting

completly agree with u they r overpriced but for £25 I can't grumble... to but dewalt or Makita u have to spend 10. Times more. so for average DIYer that will do. heat added

Gotta love a saw that reciprocates

Heat Review explains the 200mm/20mm wood steel is wrong it should me 150mm/15mm

Still a good basic unit, 2 year warantee

Are there any spare blades to buy cheaply for this it only comes with one wood blade?

Horses for courses!

I know a builder who only buys cheap tat ad throws them away when they're knackered, he's fed up of having his van broken in to and his Dewalt kit nicked..............

B&Q took my money and even send a confirmation email on Saturday, now say they have no idea what I'm on about and that the order number does not exist and I have to get a code from my bank to get my money back.... How convenient seeing it's no longer listed on their website.... Any advice or suggestions

Ordered this on Monday for next day delivery, didn't turn up. Phoned b&q to be told that the saws are not available to buy online even though they're website is accepting orders. So please don't waste your time trying to order one.

They have done this to me twice as the first time I rung about the saw was told it was a system error and to reorder. Then 3 days later no saws, rung and told same as you only available for in store pickup, told local store had ten, went down there and they have zero, although their systems do show ten. They wanted me to pay for another two and they would put in a special order for me. Explained that would mean I had paid for 6 without even having one in my hand! Going to give a few days and if money not returned report it to the bank as unauthorized payments.

Exactly the same here? Confirmation email , but no saw , phoned orderline to be told my order does not exist and to obtain an authorisation code from bank! Never use their online again what a farce

Same happened to me. I complained and so they price matched the performance power 850w saw (normally £49.99) for me at the £25 price. Poor systems if allows you to order and then they can't trace, but pleased they price matched another saw.

Same thing happened to me thing that gets me is the requesting of the bank code so there system does not tell them if they took payment for the item total disgrace from a company of B&Q statue
