Ok, I have just spotted this and I think it works out pretty good.

See here for laptop specs. very.co.uk/app…prd

Price is £749 (reduced from £849)
10% off for new customers reduces it £674.10
7% quidco cashback on £674.10 is £47.187, making it £626.91

If you buy-now-pay-later you also get £100 credited to your account (see t&c here: http://www.very.co.uk/e/b/9/promo/apple-mac-credit-account.end), which I would hope could go towards paying off the macbook, leaving a balance of just £526 to pay.

Have I missed something obvious? Please scrutinize this deal...

PS: This is not the new 2015 model, which has a slightly faster CPU and GPU and a Thunderbolt 2 port.

EDIT: Have removed the 10% off for new customers as this is not valid on computing items. Thread title updated with possible new price

EDIT: Reduced Quidco amount to £43.69 based on the ex-VAT price of the macbook air. Now best possible price is now £604

You can't use the 10% off on computing unfortunately

well spotted. In that case it could possibly be..

£749, minus 7% quidco cashback of £52.43, making this £696.57. Then reduce by a further £100 for the credit. So around £596.

The memory is not upgradeable on MacBooks, so you're stuck with a measley 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space. It's not really a good deal, unless I'm missing something?

I used a similar Very deal to buy a Macbook Pro Retina last November. Laptop was £999 and I got £150 credit from Very when using buy now pay later. The credit did show up on my account after a while and reduced the amount owed so the Macbook was effectively £849. I had also used a £20 off £60 spend code which very had sent me so actually got the macbook for £829. I had tried TopCashBack as well but this was rejected as I'd used the £20 off code.

Keep trying, it's the VAT free price for Quidco, so potentially only about £ 43.69 cashback

Thanks. Didn't realise Quidco only pay out percentages of the ex-VAT price. Have updated the original post again.

Cant find the £100 credit bit for "buy now pay later" on their website?

Take 3 also?? 3 equal monthly payments?? 0% interest

Is this early 2015 or late 2014?
