New lower price! This is the brand new 13" model just released this month. Whopping 80 pounds cheaper than Apple Store and you get 2 year warranty. You would need to have Costco membership but that's less than savings you will be making with this purchase. They have quick delivery (within three business days).

Only 128GB SSD?

buy it use it for 5 years sell it for 400 and it would still be miles better value than any windows pc's but get ready for the apple haters to start voting!

Only 128GB SSD?

why would you need more ? only a fool would keep all data on an internal drive. would be better putting the saving towards a nas drive than paying extra for a larger drive.

NAS drive is really handy. My old MacBook died but I had set it up to automatically to do Time Machine back up on NAS. It took 2h over wifi and all my programs and files are set up.

Certainly you can get bigger SSD when buying from Apple Store but do you really need it? I'm sure some people have a genuine use case for that.

Very large itunes collection , going on holiday (no wi-fi). Want to take lots MP4 encoded Blu-Ray movies..... all on internal storage......no lugging around external hard drives.

2 TB internal, ultra-portable...all data backed up to NAS...but also able to carry it around with me...

I'm sure there are others who need more space.

Each to their own.

can be had for £859 via apple education store with 3 years warrenty just find a link order and will be on your doorstep in two days thats what i did and no I'm not a student was about ten years ago.

Why would you want to take so many films on holiday. You might aswell stay at home and watch TV for 2 weeks or maybe go somewhere decent?

Find what link? It asks you to verify status via Unidays?

isn't apples warranty usually just one year?

I was expecting to get a super cool response for my deal as this is an Apple product.
This is exceeding my expectations

Urgh, I was hoping they'd have the 256GB model so I could get John Lewis to price match then buy with my staff discount. Ah well, I'll have to spend a few quid extra!

Could somebody please point me towards somewhere that I can purchase this cheaper if it is such a bad deal?
