Seems like a good price for this laptop, nice to see a current model so heavily discounted. There's an offer for new credit accounts (10% off) which may work with this too, which would make this a great price for the spec. The link includes Office but you can remove that for the cheaper price.

Pretty sure it's the AMD 5500M on this model.
That's almost the price of my car.

You're brave posting a Macbook Pro especially a core i9, you do know someone will compare it with a sub HD i5 laptop for £299

"Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5500M / Intel UHD Graphics 630"
Possibly because it's expected to be updated in the next month or so when they bring the rest of the range in line.

The cheapest model comes with a 5300M at least. This one having the 5500M. Equivalent to GTX 1650/60. The ignorance is real.

It says underneath UHD 630 graphics. Either way it's still overpriced Apple Mac junk.

Yeah, I'm sure this will go ice cold but it is the cheapest this model is available and there are plenty who do use macbooks so hopefully it's useful to someone!

As it comes with an Intel CPU too? Could always switch between the 2. The overpriced junk that lasts at least a decade and runs like brand new and enables us to make money from it 🤝. L

Apple products are some of the few decent tech product investments out there due to the fact they hold their value so much.

It isn't actually that overpriced. I would still go with an XPS but it isn't that much cheaper than this with only a few bits being better.

£2400 is about the right ballpark for this.
Why do I feel that this should have delivery included for free rather than be a 'free click and collect' item

Love my apple macbook pro (mid 2012) it's still going strong today but think it might be my last one as prices have more than doubled plus they used to be upgradable. Shame really!

It is a bit better than a 1650, there is no 1660 laptop version to properly compare to but it isn't as good as the 1660 desktop or the 1660 ti mobile version. Not that you would use it for gaming anyway.

It's about 5% over a 1650 in some places and 5% under in others. It's 1650 level.

But I agree a good investment if you make money from it but I'd go with an imac Pro instead if I could.

It is compared to the older one but better than the butterfly keyboard.

That's the way a lot of manufacturers have gone. Only really the bigger gaming style have the ability to upgrade.

If you don't need macOS I wouldn't go with a mac at all tbh.
Decent price.

I bought this model for work, but with the 32GB Memory and 8GB Graphics card. I think i paid £300 more than this deal.
Great price, still waiting for mine three weeks after ordering from TobyDeals about £120 cheaper... wish I’d waited

No one asked for your opinion, it's not HotUKReviews.
Wasn’t this like £1800-1900 like within first week for students? That deal went hot.

It was 2429 a month ago (cheaper with a code) but this deal has expired and it's back to full price now, I'm afraid.
