Because it was a busy night (friday)
same deal but 10 pound more now? how come?
Arrived earlier tonight and I'm very impressed staff very friendly and beautiful scenery room is comfortable and beds are very comfortable the bar has one if the best whiskey selections I've seen also <3 . I've booked again same deal for tomorrow night at £99 but we'll worth it 👌
Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel £59.00 B&B £89.00 Dinner B&B but different rates at other hotels, follow the link. Thanks Robbie great price.
No, but you get an egg McMuffin for £2.19
Don't like the fact they don't give you any idea of price before you sign up. No hot or cold vote from me.
Only for January, cold and probably wet.
I stayed at the Burlington in Birmingham. Lovely hotel, massive bedrooms really nicely done out. Central location perfect for shopping. Ate evening meal in their steak restaurant fantastic. Staff lovely too. Definitely recommend it. Am looking at booking again hot from me as was going to book for January through lastminute.com and this deal wasn't showing so am now going to go direct. Thank you.
£99 for a winter sounds cheap, makes £34.99 for two nights very expensive.
They have a few hotels dotted around the country. Their Highlands Hotel in Aviemore is quite nice. I stayed there one winter when they ran a £99 half board deal.
34.99 in Scotland, can't find one anywhere else :(
Perhaps so :-D Actually only ever stayed in the one in Bowness and it was nice, small bathroom mind. No curly red-headed clown in site you'll be pleased to hear.
Phoning up the hotel gave a cheaper price than the online sale. Worth a try.
don't forget 6% Quidco
Does anyone know how much it is for use of the hotel pool? As I can't find it anywhere on their website.
I would suggest that indicating that you want to take a child will produce no rooms available. Had one attempt.
Some of these hotels are very luxurious - recommended!
Free Big Mac with every stay!
Thanks tracyanne1, will take a look :)
Big Mac meal (medium) included.
It's MacDonald not McDonald Nothing to do with the fast food company.
This ]hotel has an amazing spa area - it's totally luxurious, with a serenity room, sensory showers, inside-outside jaccuzzi, ice room .... etc etc ... it's amazing!
Dont think I fancy room service by Ronald Mcdonald.... He's a right clown
geez - has the burger empire now spread to hotels I suppose you'll be staying in the Maccy Dees Happy House
been to the Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Resort, Aberfoyle, will not be back at any of that chain again paid extra for the exec room and wasnt impressed at all with the room, the staff were rude, drinks were really over priced sure it was £5 for a coffee, meal in the main resturant was good but other than that i wouldnt waste my money with the Mcdonald Clan hotels, i could have stayed in Edinburgh in a top hotel with all mod cons for the same money,
You can't get a full English breakfast in a MacDonald hotel - they only do a Scottish grill.
too much for the economic climate but good found
The more adventurous should hike in from Braemar through the Lairig Grhu to Aviemore :D
I'm lovin' it!
Great deal, booked the Manchester hotel for £72 very good price seeing as premier inn etc are £62 :w00t:
Compared to other hotel groups, this is not a great deal. Most rooms are between 70 to 150 quid pn.
Just got back from staying here and it was superb! would recommend to anyone and thank you OP! The room was basic but all we needed. Aviemore was gorgeous and very busy up at the Cairngorms. The nightlife was very funny, had such a laugh :)
Just got back after 5 night stay. Excellent price for a decent hotel in a lovely area. Unfortunately the snow had gone before we arrived
Have to say thankyou OP for this offer, made use of it twice, all in all 3 cracking days snowboarding, just got back from second outing today, was not a lot of snow, but more than enough to board on, have some rep :-D
Just got back from our 3 day stay. Have to say it was brilliant. although it's the budget hotel, the rooms in the 'Aviemore Inn' are of a standard that I've paid £80+ for in other hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, cleaning was great and the rooms were bright, warm and spotless with decent quality soaps / shampoos / etc. As said before you don't get free use of the swimming pool / leisure centre on the campus - but it's only a fiver each for the whole day- the gym machines are modern and in good condition and the sauna and steam rooms are excellent. Then just take a book and chill out next to the pool on the recliners, with a good book. Great snow, superb skiiing was had by us young'uns (No 34 bus is supposed to go from outside the leisure centre straight to the ski centre - at 20 past the hour) - but we found it sometimes doesn't come to the complex if it's running late so best to walk 5 mins to the bus stop on the main street by the rail station to make sure you get it. Old ' uns went up on the fenicular to see the wonderful views and for a bite of lunch at the top restaurant - then the next day relaxed in the leisure centre. Breakfast is £7.50 extra, but we took some bowls / milk / weetabix to eat in the room. There is a good Tesco only 10 mins walk from the hotel if you want to buy some food for breakfast to save a bit of money that you can then spend on ski passes! So thanks OP for a super deal - we'll be going back there again.:)
Off down south to aviemore next weekend. Hope the snows still about as we are 60 miles north and it's been melting quick today. Was - 21.8 about a week ago in that area. We got -18. brrrrr.
I stayed at the new Manchester hotel - http://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/manchester/index.htm There is a nice buzz about the place and the rooms are great. Their spa reminded me of thailand.
Good find, hubby & i stayed @ Albrighton hall, Shrewsbury about 9 years ago and it was absolutley amazing, we've not stayed in such a high quality hotel since (it all went down hill from there!!!!!!!!!) The only reason we stayed there was because i had a huge discount (i was working for Barrats resort at the time).Have sime heat
Big Mac Meal please. With a double bedroom!
they're telling you porkies, i booked 7th & 8th December.
i tried to book for 30th november and saturday 1st december and they said the offer didn't go into december
Try that one on my husband and he'd be disappointed in the hotel after expecting Mickey D's  but he's up for it anyway - the sausages and mulled wine at the German Market were too much to resist!! :giggle:
thanks for this, looks like a really good offer :-)
Just what i was thinking!
First night only I'm afraid - I'm not sure if they might be prepared to MOVE it to the second night, but it's only one meal in the price (obviously breakfast is both mornings though ). [Edit:Thanks for Info Fairy - I'm looking forward to it now!]
I believe this hotel has recently been opened or refurbished and that it is quite good.
B&B, Dinner on the first night only?
Just phoned up and confirmed - this is £199 for the room, for both nights. Straight from the horse's mouth if you will! And thanks Lisa, I hope so too!
