Just been to my local co-op and the traditional vanilla flavour Mackies of Scotland litre tubs are £1.49 buy one get one free. bought 2 for £1.49 then went back for another 10 (£7.45). Even on the deals this is usually twice as much. The price is on a proper shelf edge label in the freezer, it is not a reduced to clear and the use by date is feb 2012.

good deal, in my local somerfield/co-op they are BOGOF but at £2.99

probably a pricing mistake unique to my local shop maybe

Why are people so bloody greedy -went back for another 10 +2 .
No wonder there are so many obese people about !

12 tubs of ice cream / 17 months = 1.4 tubs a month, hardly glutton family of the year heh.

WHO SAYS ITS FOR 17 MONTHS ??

ha ha ha

its all stored in the freezer and will last the whole family for ages. (best before feb 2012)

this is a quality ice cream in relatively small 1 litre tubs, the obese favour industrial sized buckets.

we enjoyed about a third of a tub tonight between us, served with a crumble made from plums picked from our orchard

we have active lifestyles but many thanks for the warning, we will watch our consumption as this stuff can be very addictive

I took the greedy inference as making sure you bought them all up. Its nice ice cream, but prefer the Kellys. Hot deal if anyone else finds it.

It's not fair - my HUKD won't let me see the posters like yours does!

Must have been a store balls up as I got a flyer through from the Co-Op today:
£2.99 buy one get one free

Nice Ice Cream - especially the honey version.

yeah , £2.99 in every co-op in scotland that ive been to. imho mackies is the best ive ever tasted but refuse to pay £2.99 when its only £2.25 elsewhere. BOGOF is a hot deal, sometimes mackies do their own 100% extra free, worthwhile then too. voted hot

This was in one of Co-op's large newly built flagship stores, there were at least 40 tubs in two locations in the display freezers so if anyone misses out its more likely to be because they remedy the pricing error. Its always good karma to leave a few for other bargain hunters!

Greedy-

They just did , cant you read. clearly not

Actually i can read very well, what i was saying was -is it actually going to last them the 17 months !!!

So does putting your CAPS on make it easier for people to understand English?
