SUMMER HOLIDAYS ARE COMING....I hope!
Decent price IMO for the top of the range of Maclaren pushchairs.
More than 10 in stock at time of posting.
Price matched in Toyrus too if that suits you better also available in Red from them.
Bigger wheels makes it easier to push. High weight limit and large seat for your growing toddler.
New version is black and silver rather than just black for £150 rather than £275 I have decided silver trim is over rated :

From Toys r us:
The Maclaren Techno XT Stroller has been meticulously designed with compact style and manoeuvrability in mind. It is suitable from birth and is perfect for longer trips, promising superior comfort and performance. With a four point adjustable reclining seat, head cushion and extendable leg rests, the Techno XT ensures your little one a comfortable journey. There is a protective head and foot barrier to safely cocoon newborn babies.

A five point harness ensures your little one is safe in their seat. There are also reflective accents so your pushchair can be seen in low light conditions.

The Techno XT offers height adjustable handles for our taller parents to deliver a more comfortable stroll. Coupled with the alloy-style wheels with self-aligning front swivel unit and all-wheel suspension, the Techno XT makes for a much smoother ride and is perfect for parents on the go.

The oversized hood is waterproof and comes with an extendable sun visor to protect your child from the elements. A viewing window and a storage pocket is included in the hood. You can also remove the seat fabric that is easily washable to keep your pushchair looking tidy.

Best buggy in the world. We bought ours in 2012 for our 18 months old boy then our second boy used it from birth and still looks new. Highly recommended!
Is it similar to the xlr model?

From what I could figure out this morning Maclaren Techno XT vs Techno XLR
They are both very similar and basically the same stroller with only two differences between the them. The Techno XLR has a wider seat to accommodate the car seat and the XLR weighs two more pounds than Techno XT which doesn't take a car seat.
on boots is £135 with code BPCC10 In champagne

Mum to be trying to figure out the crazy world of baby transport. How suitable is this for a newborn? It says "from birth" but it isn't parent facing? Does that matter?

Hi.
My second boy was using it from birth. It is not parent facing but we did not mind. He is 20 months now and still using it. I cannot fault it.
It's tricky cos it really depends on the personality of your baby. Might be best to go for something that has different positions and settings that you can easily adapt as you go. For our first we went for the britax b-agile which like this could be used from birth but I bought a pram style parent facing attachment as an extra which we've barely used as both of ours hated lying flat on their backs
I have the quest and the seat isn't deep enough so this seems like a great buy for the price. Heat added!
Love my Techno XT- spending a bit more on a cosy footmuff and it's perfect from birth. I like the fact that the hood comes all the way down for summer and the rain cover keeps it warm and dry inside. Totally recommend. Used for my first child and now for our second. It's light way and easy to steer which was important for us- and it folds up nicely if you're struggling for boot space.
Amazon states this model has been replaced with a new version. Does anyone know any of the differences or any general defects with the older model?
