11 apps for $50 which is about £32 in proper money.

Inlcudes Parallels 6, 1Password, DVDRemaster Pro, Civilization IV, TechTool Pro and other apps that are on the link

Seems like a good price as Parallels 6 is £53.29 on its own on Amazon

Their best bundle to date!
Bargain for £32, TechTool Pro, Parallels Desktop and Civilization IV are the pick!
Great find.

I got the email....but unsure to post or not with all those appleheartless people out there.....:|

I already have Parallels, Tech Tool and 1Password but worth it for those three alone if you haven't. Stonking bargain.

Some of the other apps are also worth having - namely Hands Off and A Better Finder Renamer. Macupdate Desktop is always nice to have, too. This is much better than the last few bundles.

Nice find.

Although I've now gone over to VMWare Fusion from Parallels this is still a great deal. 1Password is a fantastic App.

ordered thanks

Was just about to buy "Hands Off!". Thanks!

What kind of spec Mac do you have to have to run these? Love the Civ games but unsure if this will run on my macbook? Also is there any mention as to how long the offer will last?

This is an excellent deal.

Quick question, where is the cheapest place to buy a legitimate version of Windows to run with Parallels? I've tried using my XP disc on Bootcamp but I no longer have the product key for it so it doesn't work.

Thank you in advance.

Dissapointing that Techtool Pro is v5 when the newest version is 6.

Possibly software4sudents.co.uk?

Dear Mr Echo

Possibly software4sudents.co.uk?

Thank you for the quick reply, unfortunately they all appear to be upgrades which I'm unable to do because I do not currently have a version of Windows on my Macbook.

are these apps registered to you or to your mac? Can I use them on multiple machines?

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this; I don't have much software on my Mac at the moment so I'm going to give this a serious look.

I used the version of Windows 7 I got from them to to do a fresh install on my iMac... worked fine for me.

Requirements: 1.8GHz or faster Mac, Radeon 9600 or GeForce FX 5200 or better graphics card.

So no - you can't play Civ on a macbook

I already have Hands Off! (and I thoroughly recommend it), and I purchased Parallels 6 for £30 just the other day... Poor timing

A great bundle, and most definitely hot!

Can you use this on more than one mac you have?

Having purchased a previous bundle it came with a single serial number for each application, therefore it is likely that each has a single user license. As to whether you can use the same serial number on different Macs - that is dependent on each application and how it monitors the serial numbers use and registration. I suspect you will only be able to use them on one Mac but should you wish to 'move' them to another Mac, rather than simply having two Macs running the same copy, you should be able too though you may have to contact the apps support team to update them and remove the app from the original Mac. These apps are produced by different publishers so the will have their own serial number copy protection.

Bargain price for parallels alone..not at all fussed about the other apps, but parallels is a must...so much better than VMWare Fusion in every way. Been searching for a good price on this for a while.

Thanks OP!

Here's a comparison of current UK pricing for buying them individually...

Parallels 6 - £64.99 (download from Parallels)
Divvy - £7.99 (download from Mac App Store)
1Password - £24.80 [$39.95] (download from Agile, publishers)
MacUpdate Desktop - free, $20 per year subscription. Bundled version comes with only 6 months free.
DVDRemaster Pro - £31.03 [$49.99] (download from Metakine, publishers)
Mac DVDRipper Pro - £6.17 [$9.95] (download from publisher)
Hands Off! - £15.48 [$24.95] (download from Metakine, publishers)
App Tamer - £9.28 [$14.95] (download from publishers)
TechTool Pro 5 - no longer available for sale, version 6 $99.99, version 6 upgrade $39.99
Civilization IV - £17.99 (download from Mac App Store)
A Better Finder Rename - £12.38 [$19.95] (download from publishers)

...all for £31.03 [$49.99]

Yes. I've purchased today on my work PC (so I don't forget later), but won't download until tonight when I get home. You get a download link + emails with the serial numbers, so all nice and easy.

Many Thanks!

does anyone know how to download the whole thing at once? the link they send you does not seem to work!

I could play civ on my late 2007 white macbook, 2.2ghz x3100 graphics and 4gb ram.

Would only work on medium graphics but was totally playable, no slowdown or glitches.

Could anyone confirm whether you’d be able to use an existing bootcamp partition with this version of parallel? I’ve been trying to search on google but I’m getting conflicting information!

I installed an upgrade on my mac all you do is not put the licence number in at set up it then reverts to a 60 day trial you then upgrade from that with your licence!

Fantastic find! I've bought it and added heat!

Means that you are then NOT licenced - that is no better than downloading a pirated copy..just that you are paying for the privilege of doing so. Buying from S4S when you are not actually eligible fits into exactly the same category.

Cheapest legal/licenced way is about £70 from somewhere like Ebuyer or scan.

Top bundle! Cheers OP

Officially you're not licensed, but you have a valid key, and Windows think it's valid and will install all the updates, so to all intents and purposes you are valid, and Microsoft have still got your money.

In the same way that you can crack it to get exactly the same effect.

Sorry to the OP for cluttering up the thread - but it's important that people realise that tricking windows into installing etc when you are not eligible to use that licence (with educational or upgrade versions for example) is no better than pirating..too many people think its legal and acceptable just because the anti piracy measures can't pick it up. It isn't.

Mines was actually an upgrade for the rubbish vista o/s I bought but somehow mucked up during upgrade it saved installing vista again...so don't send the microsoft police round!! I bought the 3 upgrade pack for £130 which was good value dunno if it's still around

Ordered for Parrelllleeessss...

1Password I've already got - it's VERY useful... My parents can have this licence.

Heat. Great for new users. I'd like a few of the apps but can't really justify the price. Anyone interested in splitting a bundle?

I want Divvy, Hands Off!, App Tamer, Civilization IV and A Better Finder Rename and will go 50/50 with someone who is only interested in the "bigger" apps. Hopefully not breaking any rules with this offer. MacUpdate allow you to registered each app with whatever name you want, so a plit would still have the apps registered in your name
