been using the rat 3 for many years, awesome brand. well worth the money.

I don't like relying on those reviewers because they often write it after just a day or two with it at best.

BUYER BEWARE:

"Good mouse when it works"
"Madcatz customer support is horrible. They have you jump through hoops trying different things without any intention of backing up their product. It's always the same excuses "reinstall the driver" or "clean the lens". As if I didn't try that first!"
"Does not function and customer service is abysmal."
"Mouse laser stopped working after 3 months"
"Not the Quality I expected"
"this brand has a ton of issues with lasers dying"

Had my rat 7 for over a year. fantastic piece of kit! bargain.:D

I've had my rat5 mouse 2 years, absolutely love it. I bought it at full price, this is a great deal

Had a R.A.T. 7 and the sensor was faulty, every now and then the cursor would stop then track again. I did everything customer support said and eventually just returned it and got my money back, I didn't like the feel of the mouse much either.

Have always hated the design of these things. It's like they're aimed at kids which want a mouse that looks like a transformer.

Im 36 and think they are awesome BECAUSE they look like a transformer.

This is no OOS so I expired the offer.

Had a RAT9 after having a Logitech MX Revolution.

RAT9 was bloody awful. Laser trouble, batteries only lasting an hour before needing charging again. Sold it on and bought a Corsair M65.

Voted hot for the price, but if it's build quality is the same as the RAT9 then I'd avoid like the plague IMO

How does it compare to Mionix? Want to buy a proper mouse for a friend (a starcraft fan), love my Naos, but it is so overpriced ATM everywhere in the EU. TIA.

RAT quality was completely a joke. Go search a disassembly images you'll find out it's nothing different than some £10 mice. Among all the series there's only one product (RAT9 golden) are using OMRON, else are just using something came from nowhere.

Had few RAT7 and RAT9, awful quality awful customer service. Mouse is good only if it's still functional. That horizontal wheel is so damn useful when reading manga or books, and the most sad thing is there's no other replacement yet and I still have to stick with that.

Have the M65 but the RAT feels more comfortable to hold. The palm of my hand feels tired after using the M65 probably because I have small hands. First impressions my corsair feels more solid esp the scroll wheel.
