Saw these instore initially, they aren't everyone's style admittedly, but for £7.99 they aren't too bad at all. They are pretty light weight, as you'd probably guess from looking at it. They do come with a 2 year guarantee as well.

A few colours available for free del

One thing I did find intriguing was the idea of 3D printing a palm rest for it, I mean, if you have a 3D printer, that might be pretty cool I guess. Anywhoo it's £7.99 if you're wanting this mouse.

I was poised to buy one, as I do love my old-school Mad Catz full-sized mech keyboard. Unfortunately Tech Report say that the RAT 1 has baked-in mouse prediction that you can't turn off, at least on the 1600DPI models. Useless for gaming that requires any sort of accuracy, or for anything artistic.

Yeah these are for casual use only but then just by a normal mouse for like £2. Otherwise they are useless
I had this mouse once . It was not comfortable or maybe just not good for big hands. Don't know what's really good for may be decoration
Mate at work got one. Absolutely shocking. Weigh about 20g, constantly tipping over and no where to place your pinky. I’d give these a miss
There are 2 versions of the RAT1 made, the earlier one is 3500 dpi and the later is 1600 dpi. I went in-store and picked up mine, FWIW all the white ones were 3500's and all the black ones were 1600's (Tottenham Court Road branch).
thanks, ordered both colours as backup mice
Did anyone get them to use? Seems you can't download drivers from their website..
Wow didn't know they did a budget RAT! Had a Rat 3 for a few years and it is truly unergonomic, I have since moved to a Logi MX Master which is much pricier, but if anyone can find a mouse with a similar shape to it, I highly recommend it for power users.

Appalling design. That is one ugly rat.
mine lasted 1 month then failed
Ugliest computer mouse I've ever seen
Is it only £7.99 because it went wrong when they were making it? It looks like a fair proportion of it is missing 🤔🤔
But it has a cable?
I didn't think people still used a mouse with a cable!

Sure do!
I thought madcatz went bankrupt and out of business a while back?

Most gamers prefer a wired mouse because many wireless mice have input lag.
