Been looking around for a good steering wheel to go with the F1 2010 game I bought to get me in the mood for the F1 season.

Next cheapest price I found is around £90, and this deal works out at £60 if you collect it from the store.

500 extra clubcard points when you spend £50 or more. Enter code TDX - KNA7 at checkout.

Microsoft stopped making their own official steering wheels a while back. This happened after they issued a product recall because the wheel overheats and started smoking :-)

These Mad Catz wheels are the only option now.

After checking ebay/amazon/play is see you are right. MS did replace the wheel with a revised edition (which i swapped my old one for, rather than wait for the retrofit delivery). Did that have the same issues too?
Pretty bad that theres no cheap force feedback wheel for the 360 now (not counting Fantec obviously). MS should update the 360 to support my G25, but i guess that would p'off Madcatz.

Theres nothing to compare this to, for the price is good value. Picked mine up this morning and it seems good build quality, obviously havent given it the full testing but the general reviews seem good, but not amazing. For the price though it cannot be beaten. For example £92 on Amazon.
