Now not only can you see the Academy Award®-winning* Mad Max: Fury Road in its original theatrical version, you can also see Mad Max Fury Road: Black & Chrome Edition, in visually stunning black and white! Compare and contrast all the intensity and grit of both versions of the film in this 2-disc Blu-ray™ set and discover why mastermind director George Miller calls Black & Chrome,“The best version of the movie.”

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

How would you connect a blu-ray player to an old black and white TV?

HDMI to Scart box. Something like or similar to: amazon.co.uk/dp/…MNC. I forget which brand I bought a several months ago. Useful for old games consoles or as it my parents case; connecting their old video player and DVD player to their 4K TV.

Imagine the colour version but without colour. Same film but less colour.

Personally I found watching it a more emotional experience in a strange way, like I noticed story stuff I didn't before.

If you connect dvd player directly with hdmi , signal is much better. I have connected a few in the past and there is so much improvement in picture as the signal is digital. Scart should only be used when absolutely necessary as signal is very poor quality. When Maplin s closed they were so full of unwanted scart cables no one wanted.

Well I haven't come across old video players with HDMI connections!

My parents do not currently want to buy a new machine. If they did I'd probably get them a blu ray player or a Panasonic 4K UHD player. I wouldn't go near LG 4K players until they acknowledge major drive sound issues; or rectify the issues in future machines. My LG 970 player sounded similar to a jet engine and LG said that is fine when I sent them video recordings. Managed to send it back and then bought a Panasonic which is really quiet.

Excluding OLED, LED TVs use an LCD you know? (just a different method of illumination to older "LCD" TVs)
