Found 26th Mar 2014
Open Jaw deal, select dates through Google Flights.
Madrid>Miami 10th May 2014
Miami>Rio 14th May 2014
Rio>NYC 19th May 2014
NYC>London 24th May 2014

Other dates are available throughout May.

This shows up as £511 on Google, but once you get to American Airlines website it shows as 562.70 EUR. (£470).

You can also go from London for £617. Which is also a great price.

I think this is a great deal, you can select Chicago instead of Miami too.

Wow, If I had the money I'd book this without hesitation.

Amazing deal!!!!!!

American airlines had nice TV's last time I flew them.
Also, we didn't get free drinks
"As they are today, all nonalcoholic beverages will remain as complimentary offerings in all classes of service and all beverages will remain as complimentary offerings in First and Business Class."

Does it tell you how many airmiles you gain?
I am a AA frequent flyer, a round trip from Manchester to Orlando gives me enough airmiles (9000) to get a free night in a hotel worth around £50. I suspect this will give you enough for a free night in a really good hotel or 2 nights in a budget hotel.

does anyone have a estimate on total cost for the flight plus hotel?

American Airlines have a horrific old fleet of aircraft. Honestly, I will never fly with them again unless there is no other option.

They will get you from A to B on time, I'll give them that unlike Air France or Delta but I have yet to experience a pleasant flight with them so they're not getting another chance.

So although this is a great multi-stop fare, the experience would probably be ruined by **** flights. Cracking price though so have heat.

Booked thanks for posting this

now that is cool especially as you could start from london

Very good

I wouldn't book,us immigration coming from south a can be a real pain

Prices seem to have gone up. Anyone still getting the 562.70 price?

Just booked London - Miami - Rio - New York - London for £620 each. Had to spend the morning convincing the wife to replace the proposed holiday to Hawaii for this! Great value and a great find.

Are these routes advertised anywhere, or is is just complete luck picking the right stops and dates? I have been playing around with dates and hitting some nice prices, but would be good to know which routes and dates are more likely to be cheap

Heat!!
Anyone done this before? Pre book accommodation or as you go along?

Also do you need a visa for Rio with a British passport?

I've just come off a MAD-MIA-UIO and back flight with AA (left 17 March and returning flights were 25/26 March). I cannot recommend enough that people not fly with them, *apart from the pricing*. The flight attendants actually verbally threatened a passenger behind me because she asked for a pillow and blanket for her teenage son and then said "seriously?" (that was it) to them when she received only rudeness and abysmal customer service.

My experience has always been that their older flight attendants are jaded, angry and just plain nasty. We had 2 films for a 10-hour flight, on central screens. Who doesn't have in-seat entertainment long-haul these days?

And, re: the previous poster, as with most US-owned companies, beer and wine are free transatlantically, but spirits are not.

Booked the deal for £460 in Nov.

Seriously I dont care how bad AA are...thy could put me in the hold and would still go.
This is an amazing deal and if you can't put up with some discomfort 10 hours then don't deserve to know about this deal.

Thanks to the poster I am so excited.

ps

is there a formula to how you found this?

I gave the deal heat. Information is information. No need to make a personal dig.

Ah sorry fair enough.

Hard to judge the tone of people on here.

What dates did you enter? Seems expensive in November

Maybe I'm silly for asking but how can you get all these flights for less than a normal return in some cases?
I'd like to understand the logic and formula so I can perhaps tailor my own trip.

Thanks, Matt
