Was looking for a home phone after my son killed our current one, came across this so ordered one. Seems a decent price and I couldn't find it cheaper. Its £29.98 if delivered to store and using £5 pound off voucher or its £32.45 using the voucher plus the old sim card trick for discounted delivery. This one also has the answerphone with it.

I assume at this price you get two … I assume at this price you get two handsets?Edithttp://www.hotukdeals.com/item/112100/binatone-idect-x1-digital-cordless-/http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/167450/idect-x3i-triple-with-answerphone-4/

Not the same phone now is it , i wouldnt touch Binatone if it was given to me for free , would sooner pay more for Panasonic or another good brand . i usually find quality and performance outshines the cheaper ones

I have a three-handset lot of these and they are ****. They look nice and smart but they ar fataly flawed. It is almost impossible to hang the call up as it takes about ten presses of the touch-pad to hang up, that is until you are holding it in your shoulder and your cheek hangs up for you.

Buy a panasonic, I wish I'd never got rid of mine!

Oh right, I take it these aren't the most well built phone. Its still at store at moment cos I haven't picked it up yet, this was originally £69 apparently . Are there any better phones for the same money roughly that I could get. Don't want no binatone as I know from experience that they are rubbish.

I have this phone and bought it at least 18 months ago as a replacement for an older model Philips which also a good phone IMO.

After a couple weeks of checking out several phones it became apparent that most felt cheap and flimsey until I found the Magicbox, I was a bit scepticle as I hadn;t heard of them before but have been please by the purchase and find it very good, the speaker phone is great, the sound quality is good and the answerphone also good and to top that the phone looks great.

I agree that the touch pad can be finiky, but mainly after a long conversation when the phone has got hot (due to contact with the face), but it really is a small annoyance and I would certainly consider another when it eventually need replacing.

Hope that helps to balance the points made so far.

I have this phone (a twin handset one) and it's smart, has a simple menu and is easy to use. I don't have any problems with getting the buttons to work. Took a while to find speakerphone though (don't think it was mentioned in the instructions).
