I can't order damn help me someone
The 2D model name means it takes 2 D batteries. You can get rechargable D batteries but you'll need a suitably large charger.
I suspect this is a legitimate clearance price for the old incandescent model.
Absolutely...they kick out around 27 lumens...while the LED mini that Halfords have for £5 kicks out 87 lumens...ordered one of those which I would not have known about without this original post so thanks OP
As an afterthought they are a really good weight so for keeping in the car for all eventualities...make of that what you will
I don't think these are worth buying.

Thanks OP great find = HOT
Guess that is why i can't reserve one then
You're assuming Halfords staff know what they're talking about. The packaging, and the "27 lumens" description says it's definitely not LED. Only the 3/4 view is an LED model. Extremely unlikely that they'd be selling off LED ones at this price. They do make a nice basis for modding if you're into that sort of thing. As a torch, they're almost useless, except that if you get out of your car carrying a baseball bat it's quite clear what you're expecting to use it for, whereas if you get out of your car carrying a torch you've got a reasonable excuse (works better if it's dark, mind).
