Omg that's making my mouth water
A whole 1% abv more than normal magners lol
Wouldn't last to the summer (week of good weather that constitutes that here). £10 for 7920 ml at mo in Sainsburys

No booze in northern Ireland b&m!!
These kegs never seem that great value to me.
Imagine an afternoon cuddling one of those whilst "The Wurzells" is annoying the neighbours.
Tastes like rotten apples. Bulmers and Stella taste much better.
Exactly how big is this? Doubt my fridge would handle it. Spose that’s what ice cubes are for
Good price if Magners your thing, so gets some heat from me. Not participating though as I'm still trying to drink through my 60l stockpile of Old Rosie! (Morrisons clearance of 10l of 7.3% for £8. Hic!)

Yeah I have to lay them down on their side, either that or remove half the fridge contents and a shelf but don't think that will go down too well with the Mrs.

Mind you last summer I bought a lager keg and managed to fit it in our chest freezer, left it a couple of hours then it was ok for a BBQ session !

That's a whole lotta Rosie!
This counts as 1 of my 5 a day right?
Heat added.

Stella
Heat for the deal - sadly Northern Ireland B&M stores don't stock alcohol

Magners is Bulmers outside the Republic of Ireland.

Don't believe you are drinking it, as you you should not be able to reach the keyboard, never mind write a legible post!

You have been sadly miss led as Irish Bulmers and Magners are identical. English Bulmers is different and is no longer sold by Bulmers as they gave up the right a few years ago. Google is a wonderful tool and should be used by all before posting your stories.

Where would I put my pies if I put this in the fridge? If any one can answer this would they please get me 2 b cans and send them to me in Benidorm.
Kegs r great for having mates round.......as long as someone has a physics degree and can open it properly!! My last keg of hobgoblin ended up a dribble, taking 10 minutes to fill a pint glass.
£2.00 a litre?

Doesn't represent great value to me i'm afraid...

Nope... Bulmers in Ireland is the same as Magners in the UK. When they came to the UK they needed a new name as Bulmers already existed. Bulmers in the UK make Strongbow and Bulmers ciders.

Actually, good point! It's amazing how they catch you out. I like to think I'm fairly clued up with these things, but this one almost caught me out.
H.P Bulmers make many ciders if you check the cans who are owned by Heineken!.......not sure if its the same Bulmers that has been mentioned or a subsidiary?
But thats not what this is about.........Magners for me is to gassy I prefer Strongbow(another Bulmers branded cider) Or Carling cider is very nice aswell and probably the easiest to drink and forget exactly how many you have put away
Still not a bad price but considering case of 20 is about £14 not really a bargain and has already been mentioned the size when trying to chill....... have some heat all the same
How people can drink this cack I will never know. Reminds me of dry blackthorn. Heat for deal though.

5000ml/568ml = 8.802 Pints
£9.99/8.802 = £1.135 a Pint
= Not too shabby

I suppose it is rotten apples but yeah its pretty vile. Never been more disappointed by a main brand of Cider. Love a lot of Irish drink and food products but not this its awful. I'm pretty forgiving of cider too I thought. There is a little cheap bottle of irish cider in home bargains forget the name they are only 330ml but its like sub £1, 80p or something and really nice in comparison.
There is novelty factor to the kegs, I wouldn't pay extra for the novelty but at this price it's on par or cheaper than cans.

Clearly the liquid inside the kegs is a matter of personal taste, but if someone likes the liquid inside and the novelty I think it's a great deal.

As an aside I'll have to check HotUKDeals' t&c because they have used this post on WhatsApp, Facebook and probably all the other social media places and all I get is a virtual badge.

In much the same way as they drink those coco pops flavoured ciders that are passed off as cider due to HM Revenue and Customs mad way of taxing.

Break that down further, £1 per 500mil. What 500mil bottle cider can you buy at that price. So great price for the stronger version... Exp dates are great too... Set it aside in Garage and get it out in the summer with friends with BBQ. Cheap and refreshing over ice at £1 per 500mil equivalent bottle... Bet the Uni community will love this deal.. Lots of Heat OP... Great Find.
You can get 440ml cans (8s &12s) of magners cheaper per litre.

Cheaper than the pub I guess.

Yes true. But in the pub you're paying for the table, lighting and service as well as the drink.
