Newton had a point. In fact, if one reads his Principia Mathematica, he had several. But one of the most significant of these - loosely translated as 'what goes up must go down' - was written several hundred years before the not inconsiderable invention of the Magnext iCoaster.

For this is a device that, although not possessing perpetual motion or gravity-defying properties, does nonetheless momentarily challenge that premise. If you catch one's drift.

In short, this is a nifty self-assembly magnetic rollercoaster that mixes drops, jumps, stunts and loops (to use 'coaster lingo) with one's very own DJ choons. It's a fusion of sight, sound and speed with extreme G-force, 21st century design and some rather splendid physics thrown in for good measure. So pump up the volume and crank up the speed, daddy-o.

Not a fan of this, if swollen it is dangerous.
I watched a channel 4 documentary about magnetic toys, it was shocking.

This is a little advanced for a child of an age that would still swallow their toys.

There are more dangerous things to swallow in your average household that can do far worse damage.

It looks very cool, but my cat would kill it!

thanks for posting this.

My son was looking at this in Toys R Us recently and I think it was about £90 in there,

Just ordered one for his Xmas:)
