Also some good offers on almat bio and none bio £2.99 for 42 washes of making up to £20 for free delivery
If you pick these up in store, the non-lemon all-in-one ones, without the soluble coating had higher concentration of oxygen based bleaching agents and polycarboxylates, last time I bought some, which is probably why they worked better than the lemon ones.

The soluble coating was rubbish on the ones I had, the tablet hadn't fully dissolved by the end of the wash.
In the Which test, does anyone know how they rate against the Lidl ones?

Under 8p per tab is good value

Aldi 78% Which? rating, Lidl 71%, Finish 67% (but Fairy Platinum 86% - though ridiculously expensive by comparison).

Small point, but the high-scoring Aldi ones are 'Magnum All in One' - not Almat (Aldi use that 'brand' for their laundry products).

Just paid slightly less than 11p per tablet for the Fairy Platinum (bought 2 x packs of 70) ,from Amazon using subscribe and save. They clean perfectly 1st time and both dishes and dishwasher seem much cleaner than other tablets I've had and I've tried loads of different ones, including the magnum.

Worth considering at that price, but it's still a third or so more than the Aldi equivalent for a very marginal % improvement.

I don't really compare % figures tbh. I like to see results on my dishes - I'm all for saving 3p each day dont get me wrong but for me I'd rather have a dishwasher that appears cleaner and dishes that wash perfectly 1st time. I believe the active ingredients in the Fairy Platinum tabs also clean the dishwasher itself and degrease/clean the filters which I am sure will be beneficial in the long run Piece of mind for 3p a day more ? For me, after trying the cheaper tabs, its a no brainer. That said , they are not always so cheap !

The standard price is £3.29 for 40 - pretty much the same per tablet as this pack.

I was referring to the price of the Fairy Platinum Tabs not always being so cheap, lol. If you can find me the Fairy Platinums at £3.29 for 40 I'll fill my shed

All I know for sure is that when I open the dishwasher door all my dishes come out clean 1st time , the inside of the dishwasher is sparkling and there is a very pleasant fresh smell. For me the results speak for themselves.
Now that is personal experience in my book , regardless of whether or not you believe their claims. Like I said in my post, I tried pretty much all the others, and besides the very expensive ones (finish quantum max for example) the best results came from the Fairy Platinum for me.
Lidl occasionally have their all in one for 5p a tablet on super weekends.
