Never seen them that cheap but £1 for a box of 4 magnum ice creams in my local Morrisons Holloway

Morrisons online is showing £2 each

They had 2 whole freezers full so I'm guessing they've put it down to £1 for too much stock

Saw these yesterday but forgot to post

I don't like them if I'm honest. Hubby loves them, but never complained about the taste

Heat from me though sadly I could eat the whole pack in one go. oO

A shame they not suitable for vegetarians

A shame it's not suitable for vegetarians

Only a shame if you are a vegetarian.
If you live in India they are vegetarian.
So big choice to make lol
Move to India or give them a miss.

Is Magnum ice-cream vegetarian?

Magnum ice-cream is a 100% pure Vegetarian product. In the interest of consumer awareness this has been declared on the packaging which carries the standard ‘Veg’ logo symbolized by a Green dot.
I have heard that Magnum Ice-cream contains emulsifier E-471, which can be sourced from animal fat. Is this true? Does this mean that Magnum ice-cream is not vegetarian?

Magnum is a 100% pure Vegetarian product & does NOT CONTAIN any ingredients with animal fat.

Magnum ice-cream uses a standard emulsifier which is classified as E-471 under the Indian Food law. This is a commonly used ingredient in the ice-cream industry & is used by most other ice-cream brands as well. The emulsifier used in Magnum ice-cream is derived from a pure vegetarian source which is palm based and NOT animal fat, and hence is a 100% pure Vegetarian product. This is also indicated on the packaging of the product which carries a ‘Veg’ logo symbolized by a Green dot.

good find op, heat added
