The supermarket is selling a bottle of Prosecco that's more than twice the size of a normal bottle of fizz for £10 down from £16.

Most bottles of fizz contain about 750ml, while a magnum usually has 1.5 litres.

It’s quite a good deal considering the cheapest bottle at the supermarket - the Menestrello Prosecco Spumante - is worth £6, so you would be paying £12 for two.

Anyone know how many bottles I'd need for a 35-40 person christening …Anyone know how many bottles I'd need for a 35-40 person christening toast? (don't even want a full flute, probably only half!)

I would suggest about 35-40 - that should get the party started.

This is the most vile prosecco going (personal opinion) I have tried a fair few
Weren’t Asda doing prosecco for £5 a 750ml bottle ?

I'd go for 3 1500/40 = 37.5 x 3 = 112.5ml per flute (some random website said "most servers only do a 4-ounce pour")

filling the glass 2/3rd’s the way, you’d put around 150ml in each so each bottle has 1500ml that 10 people per bottle

A flute would normally hold 125ml. These magnums are 1500ml or a normal bottle would be half that. So 1500/125 = 12. Three of these big bottles would be good for 36 people to have a full glass.

Surely you mean 35 - 39 as you mustn't give any to the person getting christened. Won't somebody think of the children?
Morrisons deals are a bit fake anyway. They only seem to have one or two of each which sell out quickly. I never managed to get any of the budvar kegs that were supposedly a deal just empty shelves. They hope you will buy something full price instead of leaving empty handed and a wasted trip
33812400-pkNIN.jpgBrilliant.. Thank you. Price hadn't changed on ticket, but someone checked and it's defo £10.

I got one of the Budvar kegs, £10 I think it was.. but now they still have them at the front of the store on promotion for £16!!

If your store is a large one there is a good chance of seeing the deals. The smaller store near me rarely has these deals.

Hi, these are 1.5 bottles & you can get 6 full glasses from a normal size bottle! So if only half full I wouldn’t push it more than 18 people if it’s only a splash! I’d definitely get 3, you might need what’s left to finish your day off! 🥂
Does anybody know which stores have them please ?
Did anyone mention "please drink responsibily " Lmao thought not please don't mention the origin nuff said

4 full flutes from 75 cal so x 2 x 2 per 16 , 3 bottles so better getting five to cover the alcoholic in group

Certainly wouldn't fancy being a guest at your christening if only intending to give one glass per guest as an absolute limit!!
Not in Aberdeen king street. Only the 75cl version for £8.50
Just been to my local store the manager said it hasn’t been stocked since February. They even had a big banner advertising it the manager is currently having to remove the banner!

And dont forget the straws for the youngsters !! ( paper one's of course )
Plenty of stock in Burntwood Morrisons!
Non in blackpool
Non in Rhyl, they hadn't even heard of the promotion. They said they only stock cheap magnums when there's a special occasion
