Haven't seen the Dark Raspberry flavour before, but looks nice so thought I'd post it, currently on offer also , so about the cheapest price available from the supermarkets also

For those concerned about the size this works out at 45p per 100ml, compared to Ben & Jerrys when on offer at £2.50 which costs 50p per 100ml.

More shrinkflation. 500ml used to be the standard size, now 450ml is more common and now 440ml.
Saw it a few days ago. It looks good but I refused to buy as the tab is only 440gr and I hate when they keep the price and shrink the size.
Still better value than most priced at £2.00 . Ben & Jerrys, Hagen Daz etc.. maybe a larger size but is rarely found at £2.00 anymore , so this still works out better value.

Not falling for another ice-cream deal - last one was Ben & Jerrys birthday only available in Sainsburys - do you know how many Sainsburys I had to visit to find the 1 store that was selling them?!?

Who the hell creates a limited edition flavour as their birthday celebration and then not distribute to all supermarkets.

Now I've got a cold and sore throat from eating ice cream in this heatwave we're in...
Not bad! Heat added.

Absolutely. I voted hot, but will not be buying it out of principles.

When it comes to ice cream, you should be comparing weight (g) rather than volume (ml) or you will just end up getting better value air.

For this Magnum ice cream, the density is given as 67 g/100 ml meaning the total weight is 440ml × 67g/100ml = 295 g and so the price per weight is 67p/100g.

For this Ben and Jerry's, with a density of 83g / 100ml, you get 500ml × 83g/100ml = 415g of ice cream with a much better price per weight of 60p/100g.

For another example, check out this big box full of air which might look extremely cheap compared to the previous two with a price per volume of 10p/50ml. However, it has a density of just 48g / 100ml (this needed some maths using the nutritional information because they don't publish it) so a total weight of 480g and subsequently a price per weight of 41p/100g.
