Looks like another rebadged version of something the sold before which means it can probably be hacked by the push of buttons on the remote for region free DVDs AND Blu-rays

I would love a region free blu-ray player...

Does this play divx and the like, either from disk or using the USB port?

Yes I think you're find this can play DivX files, as it's the same as the Foehn & Hirsch Blu-ray player that was posted on here earlier this year.

and mkv files too

Ta op - been looking for a smaller player for a few weeks. Only other one i found was at tesco (technika branded), which is £79.99 at the mo, and i expect exactly the same as this one!

Was going to order one of these Maidston ones on ebay for £65 delivered, but just called my store and they have them in stock so will instead pick one up this eve!

I'd seriously stay away from these things......over-heating issue
