Pump is £32.99 and delivery free this weekend only, these pumps seem superb for anyone with limited access to get to their sump plug to drain oil out .

Brilliant bit of kit helped a noob change the oil in three cars ( mine and a mates ),
just be aware that Saab has 2 dipsticks

Superb price cheapest on eBay is about £39.00. Should help with doing oil changes on the VW.

Great price, let's me do simple frequent oil changes on my A4 1.9tdi. That's helped it get to 208k miles!

This has made my job a lot easier. I was not 100% sure at first but I've given it a go and bought one which made job a lot easier to change the oil. The oil filter is there to filter out any crap before the oil goes back to the engine.

Once all the oil is removed, I've taken the sum plug out and a couple of drops came out so I can say that this had sucked out all the oil when it was hot as this makes the sucking process a lot easier.

Smart cars do not have a sum plug and MB dealer use machines like this to suck out the oil and some of the newer cars do not have a sum plug so the oil has to be extracted this way.

I'm happy with my purchase.

I've been tempted by one of these for many years to do the oil chainges on my car. But I'm not convinced it sucks all the crap at the bottom of the sump up, so I have stuck to the usual way of getting it hot and letting it pour out of the sump plug.

That said on my car I still have to get up to undo the tray to get at the oil filter so its not much more work, but can be messy if your clumsy.

The main reason we change the oil afterall is to get rid of all the crap circulating to reduce engine wear.

That said if one of you don't mind a little experiment of doing an oil change with this. Then possibly removing the sump to see whats left ? Might be a bit of a bum ache but interesting.

..I want one now lol... comes in handy for removing other fluids like power steering or coolant for changes. But they are so rare to do is it worth the cost and the space in the shed ?

...I still want one and am trying to convince myself otherwise.

This site is killing my bank balance lol

One thing to note is it this will fit down you dip stick as some are fairly narrow.

Used mine and it's mess free. No need to go under car to undo / tray and sum plug. Easy extraction of oil and mess free.
Quicker and cleaner way to change your engine oil.

Good price. These things are great for a no mess, simple oil change on your car.
