Sale starts tomorrow. But good heads up.
Thanks
Has anyone seen a good deal on the electric QiCycle recently? Hasn't been anywhere near the £415 seen in October.
5 plus looks particularly appealing
Great find.
I'm very tempted by the Mi Mix 2. Does anyone already own one?
All the different frequencies confuse me. Will it work on 4G in this country on Three and EE?
Thank you
Does MIUI 9 work with UK banking apps?
Any deals coming up for the mi note 3?
Looking at the 128gb version currently at $311

I have the Mi Mix 2 pretty much from release and can honestly say it is an amazing phone. No problems using Halifax or Santander bankng apps but cannot get Android Pay to work... any advice?

I had MIUI9 on the Mi 5 and it just worked by default. What problem are you having specifically?

Yes it's the global edition. Has a crazy amount of bands for more than many others think read was most at the time of launch. I will have band 20. I looked into if had the usa bands I needed too which did fir on holiday. Mines on the way can't wait. Looks a great choice
Tempted by the Mi Mix 2 myself - but don't forget that the Mi Mix 2s was announced today. It'll obviously be more expensive. It has an upgraded processor (not worried about that as the Mi Mix 2 is fast enough) and a much improved camera (this is the reason I'm holding back, for now, on the Mi Mix 2).
keeping an eye out for a decent deal on yeelights, havent seen anything recently.

yep
Is the mi a1 a 4gb 64gb for that price?
Noob question
Edited by: "imy4uk" 27th Mar
Might be worth mentioning UK customs charges should be factored into the price as these come from china? Not sure but worth considering.
Mi Mix 2 got a lot of !!!! in the description at that price, am I to assume that's a major discount? How much are we talking here, is that half price or so? The Mi A1 is only £14 than the ebay deal which is not that great considering shipping time and potential for tax (I know, not likely, but possible).

Another poster mentioned tax earlier, what would you be hit with on 271? I don't know the details but if it was 20% that would be £50 which is a fair whack on top of the device price.

+1 I'm looking for a Xiaomi Mi Vacuum
Mi MIX 2s is looking sweet
Good luck getting any of these devices. They always advertise similar flash sales but as soon as the sale "window" opens all devices vanish within a few seconds.

I took delivery of a xiaomi phone this week from Fantacy Technology via Aliexpress and got charged £12.87 customs. First time I have been charged using aliexpress standard shipping. It was sat in customs at heathrow for 2 weeks before they released it.

Guess there is always a chance of being caught.

You probably used expedited delivery.
Always use the free or low cost option.
DHL etc always get stung for customs.

No I didn't.

Aliexpress standard shipping (free)

First time I've been caught for customs after 10-12 phones.

I'm surprised too but just pointing out there is always a chance you will have to pay customs.

That's just bad luck unfortunately, normally don't have customs issues.
Shouldn't have been a lot. If you don't mind me asking how much was customs ?

I too thought it was safe using free shipping until this week.

It was £12.87, so not a huge amount. Phone was a 64gb Mi A1 and I paid $200 for it. Not sure how they calculate it, Royal Mail charge £8 admin fee. The seller had marked it as $20.

I knew it was coming as it had been sat in heathrow for over 2 weeks but was expecting more on the customs charge.
