Not wanting to dampen your post but I must say that I have donated to the NSPCC this year for my kids. The response from them has been shocking. A week after the order they email to say the cards have finally been despatched and will take 7 to 10 days to arrive!
I understand this is a busy time and probably a popular service but it is very poor service. Posted Santa letter to the Royal Mail address two days before ordering the NSPCC ones. The royal mail ones have arrived and still no sign of the NSPCC.

Save your time and donate to this charity and simply use the excellent Royal Mail Santa service and it only costs a stamp.

Minimum recommended donation is £5 - you need to put that in your title. Voted hot.

If people are ordering now I would be very surprised if the letters arrive in time.

Please read what I said and not what you THINK I said.

We got ours today. Ordered about a fortnight ago

I ordered a fair few weeks ago and still no dispatch email. My kids are asking every day why they've not had a letter from Santa yet this year so will likely get one from somewhere else next year

I hope all the kids get their letters in time. Heat from me. Good charity. Good deals xx

I ordered mine over 3 weeks ago and still waiting. Great cause donating to the charity but the service has been shocking and have two little kids who still haven't received their santa letters

its a donation with a free card, you sound almost resentful you've donated without getting a return. How about you stop moaning and maybe join the NSPCC and get others to do so...

WOW! I didn't read the post as being resentful at all. If you donate to a charity who is promising your children a letter from Santa, they should get one. It doesn't matter who the charity is, how much the parent has donated, whether they've promised a letter back or a lump of gold, they should get one. You can't go promising kids things and not standing by that promise - charity or not. JMO, of course.

Ordered mine last Monday (5th) and it arrived on Friday (9th). Order one from them every year and have always received the letter in time. Just checked my emails from last year and ordered it on Dec 18th and received it in time so I'm sure those of you still waiting will get them ok

To be FAIR ....... NSPCC is an ENGLISH Charity ......if you want to donate to the SCOTTISH one it's here :

No xmas card though !

Same here I think I will ring tomorrow see what's going on

Ordered 3 nov, recieved yesterday, as PPs, if done now I wouldnt hold out hope it would arrive in time. Sending a chase up email was awkward

Mine arrived on Saturday. Ordered them few weeks ago when there was a post on HUKD

Agree with Squiff above that they really need to meet their promises to get these letters out, charity or not.

If worst comes to the worst (to avoid disappointing the kids) you can still download the letter if you've already ordered and print it yourself. Shouldn't have to do that of course.

I order one every year for my son and have always found the service to be good, it can be slow but it's up to us parents to be organised and get it ordered in time so a delay in dispatch doesn't matter! I ordered this years at the end of Nov and it arrived 10th Dec, so happy with that. Heat added op xx

I will bring your attention to the bottom of my comment "Save your time and donate to this charity and simply use the excellent Royal Mail Santa service and it only costs a stamp."

If you bothered to read the comment properly I said to donate to the charity AND use the royal mail service for a card/letter. Read a post before spouting.

Hohoho merry xmas.

Just to add, you can print the letter off - link should be in your email - i know its not the same, but my boys wouldn't know any different - especially if their elf brings them

Whilst you're waiting, it's easy to download your letter(s) from your dedicated order page. You just need your order ID - ****** and email address to view the letter(s) you have created. You can then save and print your Letter(s) from Santa.
