Same with my girlfriend, So got her the machine that you use these tubes with, an that only cost £3. An now save around £10-15 every week over what she use to spend on normal cigarettes

I smoked for 20 years (stopped 4 years ago) I agree sometimes smoking is enjoyable but lots of the time it is more of a habit/addiction. It is so horrible seeing young kids walking down the road after school puffing away, I do not miss smoking in the slightest as there are so many downsides to it.

I can see people voting cold I would understand if these can be found cheaper. If not no point in voting just cos you dont like smoking. These forums are the deals & NOT to vote on things you do an dont like.

Some people dont like drinking but you see the booze deals coming hot!

Haven't voted but kissing anyone who smokes is revolting, I know personality speaks more than looks but taste overrules both

Why not just quit? I hate people that smoke, they absolutely stink -_-

What a hypocrite!! He obviously forgot hes advertising cigars. good price for these as op says normally £1. This should be smoking hot. lol. Simplejimbo overrules kissing? With his toxic personality, its probably best.Last week him and another pooped over my smoking related post and caused alot of trouble. Don't suppose that's anything unusual, but suggest that some get a life and stop posting on things that do not really concern them as non smokers

I can post on whatever I want to post on.

All the alcohol deals get great reviews, no one says "don't drink", personally drinkers and smokers cost this country a fortune each year, yet only smokers are outcasts, something I never understand.

It's not so difficult to understand is it? Cigarette smoke reeks. And anything or anyone exposed to it does too. I don't have a problem with people smoking - it's their business. And if I choose to spend time amongst smokers that's my choice and I understand that I'm likely to smell of smoke afterwards. I just object to people foisting their smoke on me when I have no means of escape - on public transport for example. I don't fart on the bus (even though it's more justifiable given that it's a basic bodily function and the smell doesn't, generally, cling to your clothes afterwards) so surely smokers can resist for an hour or 2.

Hot deal BTW.

I don't drink but i wouldn't consider posting on a thread referring to booze,in order pass on my own personal and bios derogatory views. As for drinkers and smokers costing this country a fortune. i think you will find that the revenue gathered from tax more than covers what smokers cost this country. Drink? i also see the government could not agree to put a minimum unit price on drink the other night because they were too **** in commons bar;)

The thing is, m8, I've never had to wash ALL the clothes I was wearing, just because a drinker was somewhere in the same room as me.
Also, today, although I am "indoors" I have to wear long johns, a pullover, a fleece jacket and a very warm top coat.
All because of smokers who are not clever enough to realise that when they stand outside to partake of their addiction, by an automatic door, it stays open and lets the cold in.

^ Not a rant, just replying to your question.

ps. The smoking ban has also reduced the enjoyment of pubs for me also as they are very empty now.

Sorry, I haven't kept a record of dates and times. I wasn't suggesting it happens all the time. It was just an example.

When was smoking banned on planes ? 15/20 years ago ?
Buses & trains ? gotta be at least the same.

Its so long ago now, i cant even remember people smoking on public transport.

By the same token, in my work with Police and local authority ASB Team I get too see the fights, the broken windows, car wreaks, domestic violence and youth crime aspects of it all, the pain the suffering and the millions spent combating all of the above...... And no, not because someone smokes, but because of cheap, freely available booze. I don't smoke not for a year but I would rather be around a heavy smoker than a heavy drinker.

Which then costs YOU money since you and everyone else has to make up for the lost revenues to HMRC.

As would anyone in their right mind. However, drinking in moderation doesn't cause those problems whereas being around someone who smokes a single cigarette usually does make you smell of cigarette smoke. I'm not judging - just offering an explanation as to why smoking is considered less socially acceptable than drinking.

Have you ever looked at how much tax the government receives from Alcohol and Tobacco though?? im not certain but im sure that goes a long way to help covering the costs...

And yet smokers are outcasts, drinkers are not?
