Great price and good tool
They also have the g series hedge trimmer complete for around £95... Anyone any experience of these?

Not of the Makita but I have some B&D 18V garden equipment. The power is plenty for light work. Can’t see the Makita being much different other than better built.
Doubt it is a "brushcutter " on battery power and even then you need to buy the batteries first to find out . Not voting either way

Good piece of kit but I doubt the original RRP is very realistic....: Good price now though!!
Artificialy inflated RRP, voted cold.
Incredible price - many thanks OP, ordered

If you're after petrol power from battery products look at EGO power plus. They are petrol power, best quality dedicated garden machinery. Fantastic kit, contractors/councils are using them instead of stihl now and they're well priced when you compare specs

Makita is always decent, but from being in the trade, if you want guaranteed power and quality value, look into EGO power plus and you won't have to look out for a sale which is compared to an inflated rrp
Hot, just for the name! 😁 🏼
Inflated RRP but this is still a good deal. I ordered one to use to sort out my half acre of moss, grass, brambles etc. and it’s really good.

Low power setting doesn’t even cut grass but medium does grass ok and high goes through brambles. With 2 4ah batteries on high you get about 35 minutes use.

I’ve certainly been impressed and recommend itbut I’d factor in getting 4 batteries and a double charger as 35 minutes doesn’t cover a huge area.

The ego stuff looks really interesting. Never heard of them before. I need a brush cutter and like the idea of heavy duty battery power. The batteries are very expensive though.... Looks like nice kit though. Shame about the price, might have to stick with has Stihl for now.
This deal might get hotter if the OP corrected the spelling of 'Makita' in the title
