Thought this was a good deal. Was originally looking for the cordless strimmer and the cheapest I could currently find was £62.99. Then found this with the hedge trimmer which retails for around £60. Only useful for those with existing Makita kit as there is no battery or charger included at this price. Ordered Sunday with next business day delivery so arrived today.

Edit - Don't forget to register your tools at Makita to get the 1 year warranty extended to 3 years. You must register the tools within 30 days of purchase.

I feel like I paid about this just for my strimmer, so hedge trimmer would have been "free"
I purchased both separately from terrier tools for £15 more than this and they were the cheapest at that time. So good offer. I find both of them great but I don't have a massive garden, yet to flatten a 5.0ah battery between the two.
Cracking price, we paid £98 last year just for the hedge trimmer!
Paid £80 for my Hedge Trimmer, so great deal.
Have both, and paid about £20 more for them than this. If I’m honest, I find the hedge trimmer a little under powered at times, the strimmer is great though and both last a decent length of time on the 3ah batteries I have. The convenience and cost of them is superb if you’ve already bought into the lxt system.
Anywhere selling a charger & battery cheap? In the market for both and this seems a great price but my power tools are all Dewalt.
Wish Dyson would do a Makita 18v compatible vacuum so I don't have to wait 3 hours to do 5 minutes hoovering.
Thanks, Just ordered
Good deal. Was looking at going down the petrol route but this is a cracking buy. Purchased. Thanks
Damn and blast. Just bought the hedge trimmer last month.
Had mine for a couple of years and as others have said, paid more than this. Hot from me!

Powertoolworld currently have the DC18RC charger at £28.79 and the 3.0Ah battery at £39.95. As the order is over £50 delivery is then free.

Personally if you are looking at replacing your De Walt kit with Makita I would try and get a drill 'pack' which includes charger and battery.

I’ve ordered compatible batteries off eBay. Took a chance with them. 2x4.0Ah £40

Thanks for the reply. Is that the best rate going then? My Dewalt stuff is still solid, will not need replacing for a bit. Will keep checking to see if better deals around but this is tempting.

The deal is a belter. I have to admit I’m a little wary of non branded batteries. But the price is good and 5000+ have been sold on eBay! Having 2 batteries will give great flexibility too as I have a large garden
Will the battery and charger from my drill be the same?

I have an LXT drill and you can use the battery from it for these tools. No batteries are included in this deal but you can always purchase a spare from around £20 on eBay
