Best deal I've ever seen according to the multiple-camels.

Fantastic deal for a really good quality reciprocating saw, perfect if you already run the Makita 18v range and have batteries/charger.

Don't feel too bad, you only lost a tenner. I'm about to lose 70 on a tool I won't use for 2 years and then won't be able to find when I finally need it.

If you bought it from Amazon, get on the live chat and ask if they'll refund the difference.

They've always been pretty good with me for that, the 'worst' result I had was a £10 voucher for a £10 difference.
Great deal, super bit of kit
I bought one of these for cutting some mild steel pipes. Brilliant piece of kit. hot.
Great tool, Heat added, I'm gutted as I paid more that this a couple of months ago

This is a great tool, but it is the only makita tool I've ever had to send back on warranty. It seized up so I couldn't put the blade back in. Had a refund, but think I will get another at this price.

It does the job but what a battery eater this is,
amazon don't refund the difference any more
is thia a good alternative to a jigsaw?

I wouldn't use it for intricate work like I'd use a jigsaw for.

I'd use this for cutting off/through items completely, so imagine it's a powered handsaw effectively. You can cut slow curves with it, but it's best for just cutting stuff all the way through.
Is this boxed up?

Worx batteries fit Erbauer tools
This is a great price for the brushed version, so gets some heat from me. I was looking at this and the '187 a few weeks back and both seem pretty awesome (though definitely eat batteries!) I went for the brushless in the end but assuming they are the same size the following may be of interest if you're looking for a good way to store it (plus blades, packs, etc). This 18" WorkPro bag was the best I could find for the job, is quite well made and is a good size at a fair price. It's also available at Amazon, though was slightly more expensive there when I was looking. HTH.

there will be exceptions to every rule. They wont work with Makita and one of the main advantages of the makita range is the quality of the batteries.
Nice price for a great tool 🔥
