Makita 30 piece Impact Driver Set for £10 (Prime) / £13.99 (non Prime) at Amazon
£10Amazon Deals
Seems a good price and the cheapest Amazon have sold it according to the camel.
So why is it better than the other sets? Egg sucking time! This is not the usual screwdriver bit set, but designed to take the blows of an impact driver, so should last longer. Can still be used in a hand held driver of course.

I’ve been suckered into buying Makita standard bits (not impact) before that turned out to be not very good.
I bought these impact ones, and the best way to look at them is treat as standard bits. These are what the Makita standard bits should be. I would say not good enough quality yet again when it comes to impact drivers.
The issue manufacturers face is making a bit so hard it wrecks the screw head, and so soft it wrecks the bit itself. It's all a compromise. The Impact drivers need to be able to stand rapid rotational blows rather than the smooth torque of a hand held driver.
This is even more important on the longer bits.
What was that about egg sucking?

Only seen it at toolstop - I think it's a new set.

And what is this 40% extra if you are not a Prime subscriber? This is stupid pricing from Amazon. Either you get pricing that matches other uk stores that pay tax or you pay a stupid made up price.
still on the same bit after installing 2 full roofs.
