Same price at B&Q but with 3.5% cashback

this has been posted quite a few times. and the last time there was a voucher for £10 off

I've got this drill with the 2 X 1.3Ah batteries. Paid this price about 3 years ago and it came in a carry case including shed loads of different drill bits & accessories.
Its a brilliant drill and bit set.... but times have moved on and i would expect Li-on batteries now for this price.

This is a better deal … This is a better deal :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-MAKITA-8391DWPETK-18v-COMBI-DRILL-101-PIECE-SET-/380425728541?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item589323f21d

Thats the set i have.... B&Q were doing them for £99 over 3 years ago.

Cant understand why anyone would even consider buying a cordless powertool with Nicad batteries at this price point, Li-on is the only sensible choice.

Screwfix also offer this Hitachi for the same money and with two li-on batteries.

Really good offer on a Bosch from B & Q and also two li-on for £80.75

these come back every year with the same price don't they? li-ion is a lot better than these ni-cad ones imho especially if you intend to use it only once in a while like I do.

Thanks for your input. Does anyone know anything about Which? magazine's drill recommendation?
