It is what it is, a great priced 1,400 watt Makita angle grinder, normally £84 plus where in stock, always handy to have around, note this is the wired version as can be seen by the wattage.

The Makita 9565CR is a 125mm angle grinder with a powerful 1,400w motor and features SJS (Super Joint System) which substantially reduces vibration making it ideal for prolonged use in demanding applications.

The Anti-Restart function prevents accidental start up in the event of power failure or leaving the switch in the "on" position when plugging it in. Other features include soft start to prevent snagging on start up and constant speed under load increases the power to the motor to keep the rpm steady.

This unit is available in both 240v and 110v and is covered by Makita's 3 year warranty subject to online registration.

Do I need an angle grinder?

Do I need an angle grinder?

Not unless you really need one - they’re very dangerous. The only tool that really scares me.
After having used a very basic budget corded grinder, I now wouldn’t get one unless it has a brake.

Primarily for safety but a PITA without when you are doing multiple cuts.

Yes, very handy tools, I have so many bikes now
Good price for a Makita
Please note that there is a battery version for £74.80 that I have just posted that may suit some people in the Makita LXT family who already have batteries
