Makita LXT Vacuum, great if you have Makita LXT batteries from their other gear. Apparently much more power than rechargeable similar Vax etc (18V vs 10.8). And it charges in 20 minutes rather than hours.
Seems a good price for a brand new unit, over £50 on Amazon. I bought one.

Note: You will need to buy a charger and battery if you do not own Makita LXT range.

Thanks, I did not think this would get any heat to be honest.
Very narrow group of potentially interested people (owning LXT).
Good saving in my opinion, some deals get really hot with a few £ saving, whereas here is approx £20.
Hoping for some heat, lol. (only kidding I do not care really, just hope this helps someone).

Nice onep

Been thinking of getting one of these for a while. I've heard they work great. Thanks op. :-)

Are these really worth it, are most often only getting because of lxt to link item, why not just get a cordless upright vacuum which stand on charger ready to use, why get these bulky things and hassle of getting battery out and being charged

ta, great deal

silly question... do you get the battery and charger with the vacuum?

I am not sure how much upright cordless vacuums cost TBH.

I have one of the VAX gators like this:

direct.asda.com/Vax…tml

...and it's pretty useless. Works for like 7-10 minutes and then needs to be connected to the AC adapter to charge for ages. No good suction as well.
Strange all the good reviews on Asda, hmm.

Makita will be much more powerful and a bargain if you already have a charger and batteries, otherwise does not make sense to buy this.
Not so difficult to take the battery out and charge.
Hope this helps.

Just to clarify, I do not think this Makita will compete well with ordinary 2000W corded vacuums, this is not a substitute for the main large household vacuum.
Nevertheless seems to be a great alternative for all the handheld units / car vacuums etc.
It is not large, the photo may be misleading.

This is a great deal but just done a Google search to find some reviews on this product and ended up on the FFX website and they are selling it for £31 with free delivery? and they are the same company selling it on Ebay for £33.48, so i went direct and still paid using paypal.

£31 delivered is an excellent price - cheers OP ordered one :-)

Cheers catmando2 for the extra couple of quid saving too!
