Nice piece of kit, heat added

Not bad, the accessory kit isn't that high quality but useful.. The 3A battery is what makes these really good and a 22min charge time as well.

the later version (and cooler looking) BHP456 aniversary edition is £139 at Amazon albeit without the drill bit accessories.

Or for £149 the Screwfix version has a wide range of drill bits and accessories included, again not high quality but useful.

Tell me more, tell me more................why is it.

Think i shall grab one of these tomorrow! Any better deals out there for the price before i take the plunge?

Bought this Makita BHP453RFX3 from Wickes today without even seeing this deal here.

I can't really compare to other cordless drills due to it being my first one I've used and even owned! I just went in and thought it must be good with it being a Makita and the quick recharge 18v Li-Ion battery, and I needed something that day as I had a fairly big job on in the garden, but I put 140 screws in, and drilled a number of 8mm holes into concrete, battery was still going strong.

I feel more assured with my purchase having seen this thread now.
