The 'there is no battery or charger' brigade will be along soon.

Probably worth adding to your title that it's bare units. People won't read it all and vote cold.
Cheapest it's ever been

Good deal. I have these and they are superb. Shame the 'I know nothing about professional power tools and I can get the same with batteries and chargers for £9.99 in Lidl' brigade are voting cold.
its a really good drill machine... prople shouldnt compare this range with other cheaper brands..
having said that.. this is a great tool for a tradesman..
the regular person should go for the aldi/lidl ones for 40 quid. they are great for regular use.
If you look on ebay, you can pick up the dewalt equivalents seperatly for only around £20 more. Much better in my opinion as they are brushless. That said, these are decent enough and a good buy at this price.
Brushless will give longer life I agree. But for the non professional these are a great price
I have an mxt drill and the brush is super easy to replace by the user. I agree brushless is better, but a replaceable brush will help soften the blow considerably. I dislike things that are not servicable and require throwing away for silly reasons.

Yes I would have liked to get brushless, but went with this in the end. I am just a DIYer so they don't get heavy use, and Makita do a better range of other 18v tools that are compatible with the same batteries, so for me this is better value.
For example. I can get the garden strimmer or even the portable hoover for £35 and use the same battery.

It now says: Back-ordered. Due in stock May 12 -- order now to reserve yours
Really this is a bargain, I don't think you will find this combo cheaper anywhere else for a long time.

Any model that begins with b as opposed to d will only accept standard 3ah batteries.
