this one is 3ah (battery capacity/run time) The B&Q one has 2 batteries at 1.5ah each
This deal is for a drill from the LXT range, meaning the batteries are compatible with other Makita battery operated tools, such as Jigsaws, Circular Saws etc. The battery included in the deal model is a higher capacity 3.0Ah than the two 1.3Ah you get with the B&Q model, so will run for longer. They are also slightly different models, so it's possible that the deal model has better/stronger internal components.
If you're comparing with B&Q, the deal here is essentially for this model, but with a 3.0Ah battery instead of the two 1.5Ah.
I have this drill, it's fantastic for the casual/heavy DIY'er alike. Very powerful and gets the job done, you wouldn't be disappointed by purchasing this.
On another note, I bought it for £95.99 when they had the "20% off if you trade in an unwanted tool" promo.
